A car show is always good.
Thanks to Nully, I now have interwebs on my lap.
The trip to the doctor gave me the thrill of my life: For the first time in my memory, I have 20/20 vision in my right eye!!! Much better than 20/750!!!
I am excited now to get the left one done! The next time you see me I will be NOT wearing glasses except for reading!
Hello. Well we got snow on the 24th. It didn’t stick. Raining all week. Lost power a few times. You can tell winter is just around the corner.
A baby hawk flew to my bird feeder this week. Will post photo at some point.
We’re getting some of that cool! Our high looks to be 78, but it was 58 this morning when I set the garbage can out...and me with no long-sleeve shirts!
I’ll be looking forward to the photo of the baby hawk. Is it a red tail?
No not a red tail. Some kind of hawk.
We didn’t look at ALL the cars. I forgot to put on my walking shoes when we stopped at my place for the cookbook to make pineapple upside down cake, but I DID get my camera, so photobucket will have some new photos, soon.
We stopped at the place that was sending out the BBQ smoke, and split a rack of ribs and a beer, but by then, both of us were complaining about our aches and pains!
It was a nice finish to a spectacular morning, and I am ever so grateful for my FRiends!
And fan, I have YOU to thank! Nully has been a Godsend, but only because you introduced us! Thanks! He isn’t at all like his online persona...he’s MUCH better! (I can say that because he is snoozing before the next exciting episode can take place.)
I think he will leave Monday AM. We are going to Hoover Dam tomorrow, and may have breakfast at Railroad Pass. fun stuff!
Red tail hawks are quite common in the Rockies, so I just wondered.
Low 40’s to high 30’s on the overnights here.
Immature eagle flew overhead earlier.
Didn’t have a camera handy.
This one has sort of a peach/tan breast. Dark backside with dots. I will post in a few. Right now we have no water yet someone turned on their well so I am filling containers.
Never, as a rule is a camera handy for a pic like that!!! LOL
Hang in there, Honey! Water from any source is good! As long as it’s clean.
I did have a cera handy for one of the adults staring the stink eye at a kestrel.
Haven’t had the chance to upload the images to my devart page yet.
Must be one of those cameras that only works in the afternoon; it has no AM component.
I’m very happy that both of you are having such a nice visit. Hope you enjoy Hoover Dam!
We’re trying to sort out the schedule for tomorrow so we don’t have to take Frank and Kathleen to church. OldTax-lady emailed: she thinks they’ll be at Philadelphia airport in the late afternoon tomorrow, but then they’ll have to stand by to Charlotte. If they get in too late for her to go on to Orlando, she’ll have to spend the night with us!
Much like my smortfoan!
” If they get in too late for her to go on to Orlando, shell have to spend the night with us!”
Ooh! Ooh!
I know!
Spice up the time with this dread travel invocation: “You kids behave or I shall summon the nine dread lords of yathu’aa m’goa!”
been cleaning up outside
going to rain
it IS raining
I think Monday might be a good day for power and water
I said that last week too, didn’t I?
Ack re: snow. Looking forward to baby hawk photo!
Ack!
Movie reviews have been somewhat absent but considering the circumstances....
