Where does Tartus fit into Biblical prophecy? Are we about to witness another end times event?

It says this ship is taking over for something else. So what is it replacing?

Slava-class cruiser is built around the the P-500 Bazalt missile, which is a liquid fueled supersonic missile with a 550 km range and a payload of 1,000 kg, which allows it to carry a 350 kt nuclear or a 950 kg semi-armor-piercing high explosive warhead. It was designed to keep a carrier at the 550 km distance.

We have had no carriers in the Mediterranean since the Nimitz sailed past Gibraltar on August 3. Now the Moscova has moved in, making the neighborhood pretty crowded.

My Advice is stop worrying and learn to love the bomb. Obama and congress are about to start WW3. Over what? Saving face?

In the Navy, we called it the Roman Candle because it was a product of days before deck flush launch tubes.

No one has considered that Syria’s Air Defense systems were supplied by Russia, and probably manned by Russians. What will happen when we start killing Russians??

Time to start organizing all my gear for a quick load...

In a WW III scenario, there's nowhere to go. Sit back, crack a beer, nail your chick one more time, and enjoy the show.

Naw, Laz - I’m a survivor, a la Cormac McCarthy’s The Road. If I’m not vaporized in the initial exchange, I’ll find a way to keep going.

What can I say? I’m an optimist about my ability to keep on keeping on. Besides - I want to nail my wife many, many more times. That’s one thing to live for, at least.
