The father , Bill Azeka was one of the nicest people I've ever met. “Azeka’s Place” the mall still carries the Azekas name even though it is owned by a corporation now. Bill was known as the honorary mayor of Kihei.

Maybe not a Memorial Day bbq but here’s a great recipe for a Schlotzsky’s original sandwich which would be good for a picnic along side that bbq. I’ve been making these for a few months and they turn out perfect each time.

**** I can’t wait to try this recipe. I think I will see if English Muffin Rings work for the bread. Thx for posting this. *****
