“You’ve got to put them on notice ,, give them a chance to turn around.”

Fine, put them on notice, but you don’t have to resort to these tactics in order to do it.

I think it’s safe to say that most of us here view those aborted children as murder victims. Do you think it is tasteful and acceptable to parade around crime scene photos of murder victims in public, and expose children to that? I certainly don’t, and I don’t care what cause you say you are promoting by doing so.

The fact that even the Thomas More Center has to resort to arguments of expediency, saying this is an effective tool, just highlights my point. If they had a moral argument to stand on, they wouldn’t be making arguments of expediency, since those are a last resort. If it is morally justifiable, you don’t need to argue that it is effective, and if it is not justifiable, then whether it is effective or not is moot.

It’s incumbent on us to decry the crime, but it is not incumbent on us to do it through such a tasteless method. That’s a choice, and I think it’s a foolish one.

I guess it depends on what you believe in.
