It ain’t the same by any stretch —but the State of Colorado
came in my house pretending to “help” my daughter keep her girls. when my wife and I violated their “safety plan” by allowing my daughter take her girls to the park for an hour or so one day last April— they decided to “take” the girls. They later filed charges against me saying because I said I would regret not pushing my wife aside-grabbing my guns -and protecting my family when they came with the local police to “take” my grandchildren” they told the Court this house was an unsafe environment because I said I have guns. With the unconstitutional environment that pervades America in our public trust I doubt I will ever get my grandchildren allowed back. But I will not be silent— because I am an American.

I tried to send the link for this article to a few people on Twitter. Found at least one that was being blocked. Would not send the message, until I used another URL shortner. After confusing the filter with that it went through.

Not the first time I have had messages suppressed.

Addendum— I am well aware there are those who think I ought not have Any guns because I am bi-polar—and have a seizure disorder. But we still have that Second Amendment and I will cling to my guns and to my Christian religion despite what the new world order believes.The second Amendment -until it is expunged— is the only law between America and entrenched tyranny. It is the Amendment that allows us defend all other.

And yet because the guy is a ‘Truther’ there are several here on FR who are just fine with it. I’ve see post as bold or even bolder stuff right here on FR. Lest Freeper’s forget:

Protestant minister, Martin Niemoller , who found himself interned in a Nazi Work camp...
“ When the Nazis came for the communists, I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats, I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists, I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews, I remained silent;
I wasn’t a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.”

Martin Niemöller

I checked the site, it was slow to load. Must be lots of people trying to view it, or a Denial of Service attack.

You might try it through this link and be patient about load time.

The justice who incarcerated Raub was Justice Walter Douglass Stokes.

Wonder what his background is? Wonder what the FBI told him? Wonder who chose the Psyc professional to call?

This really stinks. (not defending the x-marine who says he is a truther)

...It looks like things have may have already started. The 'wackos', those who speak of violence, the loners, anyone who can be Alinsky'd will be first.

When the 'facilities' are full, maybe they'll start with the 'temporary' and 'overflow' facilities (camps).

Facebook, etc. is not your friend, it is the rope they'll hang you with.

This concept of government being the solution to every problem is very common among concervatives here.

In a An article the other day about a turtle being tied to a balloon a poster said the kid who did this needed to be found by government because he MIGHT injure another animal and that MIGHT lead to him killing humans.

It is a sad day when conservatives are the same as liberals.

Keep fighting..........................

I’ve yet to see an explanation for how the authorities found these posts. This article at least comes the closest. Looks like Facebook in cahoots with the Feds.

I hope he sues the living dog shiite out of them. And shame on the Virginia AG and the sheriff for allowing the feds to snatch a Virginian without due process.

Try that crap with me, and you'll be met by Mr. 870P with a$$hole repellent.

Chipper,

You’re right. I read every piece I could find on the “arrest,” and incarceration of Raub and no one—including the WaPo—had the answer for who exactly started the ball rolling or how. The FBI denied it was looking through Facebook posts, but that was PROVEN to be a lie by the FOIA suit mentioned.
Strange, isn’t it, that our federal protectors could arrest Raub, yet have no inkling of possible, future wrongdoing on the part of Major Hassan!!

They need to get this guy to the Rep. convention for a speech. It should be splashed on every site possible. MSM carrying the water again by not revealing full details. Just a thought; Doesn’t Geo. Soros own a rather large stake in Facebook?

They may look everywhere. However FB represents a single large concentration of microbloggers. TLAs can get a direct connection into Facebook's computers to filter all new comments.

To do the same with FR, DU and the like they would need to scrape millions of pages on thousands of blogs and deal with a whole bunch of related difficulties. Additionally, 3rd party blogs like FR give you no easy way to associate the login name with a real life identity. Facebook most likely includes the IP address with each comment and provides the account data if the TLA wants to look deeper.

The same effect occurs in crime. Majority of crimes are committed by low IQ people within a mile from where they live. (Trayvon Martin is a good example.) Detectives know that and use it to solve those crimes. A few crimes do not fall into that pattern; for example, a hired killer can assassinate a businessman. Such crimes are hard to solve even if you have a list (a long one!) of all the enemies of that businessman. The hitman is experienced; he did everything right; he is not known to the police; he cannot be associated with the victim; and so on. The police sends resources (detectives) to where they can be most useful. In case of FB vs. FR that would be Facebook.

“And yet because the guy is a ‘Truther’ there are several here on FR who are just fine with it.”

IMHO that’s probably the very reason they chose to to target him. His overall post makes him look like a bit of a crackpot, somebody who could easily be selected for this evil, illicit treatment and not have many of us come to his defense. The individuals who concocted this probably thought that, having gotten away with this atrocity on a somewhat marginal character, they could extend their constitutional violations to more mainstream adversaries of the regime. That’s why we have to fight any atrocity like this, because thy are going to use it as a springboard to go after all of us.

“Facebook, etc. is not your friend, it is the rope they’ll hang you with.”

Facebook is a disgusting open invitation to undress in public at the worst possible time in front of one’s worst enemies. I only have an account because it’s required to view other Facebook pages. No way I’d ever post anything about myself there, not even a picture, even if the gubmint wasn’t watching it.
