At the risk of being a little off topic, ABC Radio News is disgustingly biased. Its “reporting” is outright left wing propaganda.

Here's what was received from ABC News after contacting their Network News Dept...

Thank you for writing to the ABC TV Network headquarters. Your request and/or comments should be made to your LOCAL STATION directly.

I had not seen the comments until it was posted here. There is no difference between that statement and the early claim that he was Iranian, next he was a Muslim, next he’s a registered Democrat, next he’s an Occupier.......Moral of the story is keep your mouth shut until you know what you are talikng about.

Unfortunately there is a culture in journalism that wants to have a story first and they get caught up with getting it out there before it is confirmed. Both sides do it and it weakens the reputations of both sides. The internet makes it easy to spread false informmation.

Am I the only one who is bothered that Politico repeatedly put the word incorrect in quotes in that piece? It looks to me that they still don’t want to fully admit it’s incorrect.

It's been like this forever.. "news" media have always taken sides. I recall the days of multiple newspapers in cities.

I cannot speak from being there during the 18th and 19th centuries or the early 20th Century but I remember TV network news from the very beginning. Our first TV was 1949.

In 1953 (1954?) Edward R. Murrow (See it Now) gave the OK on his TV show to destroy Senator Joe McCarthy.

Here's the way it's always been: Daniel Schorr of CBS reported on Walter "North Viet Nam Communists' most trusted man in America" Cronkite that after the Republican convention (1964) Barry Goldwater was off to Germany to start his campaign for president of the U.S. with a visit to the center of Germany's right wing and "Hitler's one-time stomping ground."

That's how CBS "news" reported on Air Force Reserve Brig. Gen. and Senator Barry Goldwater's visit to a U.S. military site in Germany. How to lie by telling the truth -- or simply lying either way it matters not to Obama SCUM (servile, complaisant undistinguished media).

Maybe he Googled the name. Now if you do that you get a ton of material from the last 36 hours but perhaps when the story was just breaking the Tea Party guy's name came up on a search.

For ABC and Brian Ross, it was a case of wishful thinking--they just wanted to be able to tie a terrible crime to the Tea Party so badly they skipped elementary fact-checking.

Democrat journalists are too big to fail.

Fox News, on the other hand, must have its FCC license revoked.
