I thought of the same quote last night, especially after catching Blitzer's (CNN) change of enthusiasm after the victory. However, I do believe that we should give attribution and the correct quote ('their' rather than 'the').
Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!"
"Conan the Barbarian" 1982 - BUT in reality lifted from a novel about a real barbarian conqueror, GENGHIS KAHN: THE EMPEROR OF ALL MEN by Harold Lamb (1927). "Nay," responded the Kahn, "to crush your enemies, to see them fall at your feet -- to take their horses and goods and hear the lamentation of their women. That is best."
Just adding to everybody's good day!
Good enough for a cook.
