Amen!
Thanks for the link!
It’s people like him that made me drop out of college three times.
Very true...Does anyone ever see the day there will not be an naacp office? These groups are all businesses now. They simply CAN`T Let racism die...They can`t, NEVER, for any of them. (Asians, whatever a hispanic is,blacks, everyone but white). It`s really sad.
Bath-House Barry is setting blacks back decades—
True intellectual blacks realize this “Critical Race Theory” is a crock of sh*t:
snip-”Our Black law professors have written themselves into oblivion. Absolute oblivion. And as long as radical chic holds its grip on their hearts, our potential greats will go unacknowledged and unrecognized. We all suffer in the Black community when talent is wasted away.”

~ Larry Elder, "The Ten Things You Can't Say In America"
I don’t think my last post to you was very clear.
For 3000 reasons, I supported the War on Terror and still do. What got me riled up was Mediscare Part D and Bush’s attempt to give amnesty to illegals. Also government seemed to grow under Bush, which didn’t make me happy, either.
Larry Elder is AWESOME! He’s a heck of a writer!
“I agree. Not the greatest of public speakers, is he ?”
No doubt a product of affirmative action.
NAACP= National Association for the Advancement of Communist Principles
If those yahoos believed in capitalism, they could form a conglomerate called “Victims, INC.”
And, let’s not forget the damage the ADL has done to Jews. Not on the same level, perhaps, but damage has been done.
LOL!
Bell is a slut!
Ahhhhh.....the Left’s other Horst Wessel!
I guess she’s no longer Useful, she’s now just an Idiot. Won’t hear from Ms. Fluke anymore....the Left has something new to defend.
I knew about Bell and his radical ideas for some time, but hadn’t heard about him in a while when I saw him on a panel show with Pat Buchanan. Bell was a changed man. He had by no means given up his ideas, but had apparently undergone a crisis of despair, which led him to adopt a passive and even saintly demeanor. On the show, he was giving his standard line about the plight of blacks under institutionalized racism when Buchanan interrupted him ... “Are you saying that I’m the one that’s causing blacks to drop out of school etc. etc. etc. ...” Bell interrupted him in turn, “No no no no! It’s not your fault!” he declared, as though granting absolution. Buchanan instantly broke into his patented boyish laugh with a broad smile. I can’t say what it means, but it was an amazing TV moment, and I have to say it gave me soft spot for Derrick Bell.
Someone on another thread said he died of a type of cancer which causes niacin deficiency. The poster said niacin deficiency, if severe, can bring on dementia. If that’s true or not I have no idea... but maybe that explains the change you noticed?
I would think my account of his immediate ( and appropriate ) response to Buchanan’s tirade would preclude any perception of dementia. OTOH, like I said, he had evidently gone through some changes. I wouldn’t be surprised if these involved personal suffering.
“The only reason Barack Obama was elected is because the interests of white folk and black folk converged as has happened a few other times in history, like at the time of the Emancipation Proclamation and a few other historical events, it wont last...”
There is a kernel of truth in what he says, but he’s totally off base in tying it to race.
I would put it generally as follows:
A particular agenda gets advanced (or adopted) when a sufficient number of people see it that it’s in their interest to advance it. If it has a racial component it is strictly coincidental.
It is my firm belief that politics (i.e. self interest, which is what politics boils down to) trumps everything - race, gender, nationality, family, religion, etc. There’s no way on earth that this guy would celebrate the victory of a black candidate for president if that guy was Herman Cain or Thomas Sowell, Walter William, or any other black conservative. Why? Because politics trumps race.
Obama got elected because enough people saw his political agenda (ultra liberal) as theirs. Additionally he also served a hidden agenda of some people - the relief of their unspoken guilt by electing a black as president. The third component was the almost 100% of the blacks (and to a lesser extent other minorities) who served their interests of boosting their pride and self esteem vicariously, by having one of their own elected president (like the sports fan wanting his team to win and feeling good when it does). It was the confluence of these interests that got Obama elected. There was some racial component on the parts of the blacks, a bit of racial component on the part of guilt-ridden whites, but the majority of the whites and blacks that voted for him did so because of his politics.
If you want to know how much race had to do with it vs politics, you can do a quick thought experiment. All you have to do is replace Obama with another black but one with opposite politics, say Herman Cain.
How many of the whites that voted for Obama would have voted for Cain. How many of the blacks?
This little exercise will convince anyone that his “Critical Race Theory” is totally without merit and is simply pseudo-intellectual drivel by an affirmative action incompetent, provided a tenured professorship by the guilt-ridden whites at Harvard.
Here’s a great assessment by a judge in Wikipedia.
Judge Richard Posner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago has label[ed] critical race theorists and postmodernists the lunatic core of radical legal egalitarianism.[9] He writes,
What is most arresting about critical race theory is that...it turns its back on the Western tradition of rational inquiry, forswearing analysis for narrative. Rather than marshal logical arguments and empirical data, critical race theorists tell stories fictional, science-fictional, quasi-fictional, autobiographical, anecdotal designed to expose the pervasive and debilitating racism of America today. By repudiating reasoned argumentation, the storytellers reinforce stereotypes about the intellectual capacities of nonwhites.”
“Aliens visit earth, promising untold riches and energy sources if only the President authorizes transfer of ALL BLACKS to the visiting spaceships.”
And what would his story look like if the aliens promised the riches to the blacks if they transferred all the WHITES to the spaceship?
Do you happen to have a link to that video - I’d love to see it.
