That is NOTHING. We have over 2,650,000 Federal employees. Normal efficiencies should result in more than a 1,000 reduction.

For most Federal employees, doing nothing would actually be an improvement. As it is now, they are an impediment to people and business actually trying to do something.

I worked as a civil service maintenance supervisor for the past 20 years. There are a lot of upper management personnel who have jobs "created" for them on a regular basis. I know exactly what you are talking about. Every staff section was filled at 100%, and the "worker bees" were filled at 50 - 60%.
