Ron Paul is no better presidential material than Obama. He won’t be the nominee anyway. Deal with it.

The Iowa Caucus open voting rules and the Ron Paul campaign created a self-selecting process for thousands of young non-Republican voters to come into the Caucuses and skew the numbers in the younger voter range. It's apparent to anyone but a dumbassed Paultard pimp who wants to make a larger point where none logically can be made.

If past elections are any indication, this thread is nothing compared to the ones you’ll see if RP runs 3rd party, and Obama wins by fewer votes than RP got. Every one of them will be counted as votes that should have gone to the Republican candidate, and people will want blood for it.

Newt had just 8K. Perry, with over 11K should have qualified. Rick probably didn’t even submit. If crazy paul was able to do it, they should have as well. Especially if they were serious. While no reflection on FReepers, I know of SEVERAL ardent Paul supporters who voted for Obama in 2008 - citing their anti-war positions as their single-issue.
And they said they will do so again if Paul is not the nominee and not on the ticket in November. Their Blame America First Pacifist religious beliefs trump the lip service they pay to Conservatism
So yes, I think there are some Paul and Romney people who WILL vote for Obama in the General election.
