Bless you, CW. You have, indeed, been working hard to get Rick Perry elected.

Even when many on this board have ridiculed, maligned and even threatened you with zots, you have stood by your candidate, Rick Perry - a true conservative.

Thank you so much.

Go Perry!

Perry and Santorum may have a chance. We conservatives need to decide which one now.

When you compare experience and accomplishments, the decision is very easy.

I have already decided. Perry is the man who has delivered the goods. Texas is experiencing economic prosperity the rest of the country can only dream about. Perry understands excessive government kills the goose that lays the golden egg.

Perry signed tort reform legislation, preventing lawyers from filing frivilous lawsuits and thus creating a favorable business climate.

The numbers in TX are staggering. TX has 1000 people per day flocking to TX and they are finding jobs.

We only have two governors in this race--Gov. Perry and Gov. Romney.

Of the two, Gov. Perry is the one with the record I want duplicated for the rest of the country.

I think you’re right. Bachmann is only staying in because she (mistakenly) thinks she might get a veep spot with Romney if she endorses him.

Santorum is a nice enough guy but couldn’t win his own state and comes across as limp and wimpy. (Sorry)

I wish people would rally behind the man with the real chance, the real record, the money, the persistence and the organization to see this through and that’s Rick Perry.

Yes. Newt has good numbers in the most recent S.C. and Florida poll numbers. The problem is - is that those poll numbers are no longer very recent.

By the time S.C. and Florida rolls around, Newt’s numbers in those states may no longer be there. By that time, the electorate at large may very well have decided to submit to notion of Mitt. Or just as likely, the Not Romney’s will still be fractured.

Rick Perry is a sanctuary city loving doofus...

This is the single most ignorant statement I have seen on Free Republic in months. And that's saying something.

Oh, I so agree with you. Have a Super Tuesday that includes all the states.

Why, why, why won’t they do that. Maybe I’d never have to hear the I word again (Iowa)

"Erick Erickson is a Rick Perry hack..."

Why did you change the subject?

Rather than resourting to ad hominum attacks --(which means you have already lost the argument) --devote your time to debunking the evidence presented backing up the assertion that "Santorum is a 'pro-life' statist", if you hope to have credibility with intellectually honest people.

omigosh. Fox news almost had to show a picture of Perry this morning in connection with the lawsuit against Virginia.

If you blinked though .....

But Perry did look good for his ten minutes on with the fake Greta the other night.

Greg Jarrett was smiling from ear to ear - with a full length video of Chris Christie on the stump for the horse’s rump.

Fox is so ‘in your face’.....Rumpney should be paying them the big bucks for advertising.

Relax, psycho. If your boy can’t maintain his base among Republicans, it’s not our fault.

Some of us prefer a more genuine conservative. Are we supposed to drop out because we like someone better than Newt.

Newt had his chance. He still has a chance. If you would call him and tell him to shut up for five minutes, it would serve him well.

Your stereotypical view of Perry as someone who is unable to put two words together has long been refuted and is refuted every day by his appearances in Iowa where he has made long, inspirational, off-the-cuff speeches.

Without a teleprompter, Obama has nothing. Why do you continue to idealize Obama while believing trash about Perry?

If you don’t like Perry for some genuine reason, fine.

But don’t drag out the old inarticulate thing. It doesn’t fly.

No, you can thank your new Overlords, Willard Romney and RUN Paul for taking down their biggest threat. They simply had more money and insider help.

The result is still the same. We all lose.

I don't know about others, but to me, Iowa is NOT an indicator of the feelings across America, but is merely a tool of the State-Run-Media/Establishment Elitists, and used to try to sway public opinion, period.

This doesn't get said enough!

IA is good for the news channels. It gives them something to talk about, but it is not a red state. At best IA is purple. The same applies to NH.

We won't really see who conservatives are lining up behind until SC & FL.

I love the way Perry is building momentum and I hope the Gingrich backers come over to Perry if Gingrich really is crashing.

Adding my thank you, CW.

Not only have you been faithful in posting Perry threads, but you have the knowledge and information to back up all the good stuff about Perry and to refute the idiocy that is frequently posted about him.

You are my hero !!

Don’t be silly. If Newt can’t withstand attacks from the alien Ron Paul and the liberal Romney, it’s pathetic.

These people did not take Newt down. And, I don’t think he’s down.

Buck up. Most people are undecided right now. Newt can talk his way back in.

But I just want more people to get to know Rick Perry. They’ll like him.

The one who is losing the most, is Perry. His support is now jumping for Santorum; Bachmann’s is also. Neither candidate appeal to Newt supporters. Mainly because this “Pure CONservative” fixation/stigma is driving the Lemmings into another of several, Panic attacks.

Most Newt supporters are smarter than that. Give it time, see what happens in S.C. and Florida. Iowa is not even close to comparable. This race is far from over yet.

You seem to be suffering from ADD. First, Newt is out and you’re blaming people who support Perry and others.

Now, Newt is in and Perry is slipping.

Most people started to like Newt because he was a good debater and (I think) because he took some jabs at the press. People hate the press.

If he can’t out debate the Republican field, then ????
