All of your peripherals will work with any other computer. eMachines is a very low-end brand using cheap components. They’ll probably work OK for a while, but unless you do much more than surfing the internet, you may want something a bit higher quality. And DEFINITELY make sure you’re constantly backing up your hard drive.

back from a mini vaca. Your system likely has 2-5 fans. can you tell me which fan is at issue. Regardless, the fix is the same. remove the fan, usually remove the sticker in the center, q-tip wd40 or other non spray oil lube to the fan motor, reseal replace and star looking for a new fan.

The most likely fan is on the CPU. The Video card most likey has a fan. If your motherboard has a built in then its a crap shoot but usually the vid is smaller.

Please send as many specifics as you can. (hardware wise)
