I've been here for 11 years and I am sick of seeing the RINO crap of the past 7 years take hold.
Get my ass banned if you have a problem with me. I have kids growing up in this world. RINOs aren't going to help them survive.
I actually don’t mind Perry.
I’m just on this thread, defending Cain. :D
fireman15, you are STILL patronizing me. You gay or something? ::grin::
I am actually having the time of my life. This forum is ON FIRE, and you know what? A lot of Perry supporters who have been silenced by these CainBots are coming out and having the opportunity to say their piece. And some of them are saying some very serious things. Cain supporters continue to post unserious comments. Not all, but most.
BTW, this is not “another” anti-Cain thread of mine. This is my first one. I was actually concerned that if I posted something factual and negative about Cain, I’d get zotted. I even said good bye to my buddies in the Texas forum when I posted this.
No question. He has problems alright, and he hasn’t debated well. I haven’t decided yet.
Quite some time ago I managed a small department with three or four female employees (the number varied over time).
One of the agents once disagreed with something, I believe she didn’t get some title, or enough hours or something I really do not remember, the details are fuzzy - were even then. Basically I believe she complained she had been sexually discriminated against. Not harassed, she just claimed she had not been treated equitably as a female.
The staff was all female.
Despite the absurdity I thought this to evidently be on its face - the top boss (who if I remember might even have been the person who recommended she work in the department, somehow her “in” I think) took me one day along with himself, and our fellow employee to speak with the ... judge, I would suppose? at some sort of labor hearing. It was all odd, and at the end of it, he took out a checkbook and literally wrote her a check for a few hundred dollars. That was the impression I was left with, from his explanation. I was flabbergasted by the entire situation. Never really understood it entirely.
I didn’t do anything, was not reprimanded, was never even accused of anything, but the very fact she alleged she had (somehow) been discriminated against, meant that for the boss it was simply cheaper to give her some money and make it stop.
It was my one experience with that sort of surprizingly illogical system.
Cain is doing just fine.
It is disappointing to see too many right on our side, eagerly do the bidding of the wrong side, just for selfish advantage...
In Ohio. With a degree. Working as a Pharma professional.
Sure thing, New Yawka. I'm too much of a gent to ask what kind of "lady" you are.
There was always a EASY OPT OUT.
Some made it about opt ins, but it was done that way to reduce the COST of the vaccine.
No one forced anything.
Perry acknowledged that the executive order gave an appearance of impropriety, though it was unfounded.
Then there were the unfounded accusations of being in bed with Merck (Have we seen any PROOF YET?)
I and other Freepers have met her, so I don’t really know what you are talking about.
That’s actually flat out untrue...Perry has had some terrific town hall type formats and some terrific interviews.
But it doesn’t matter if it’s true or not, from what I’ve seen.
This is a religion thread? Well, hallelujah!
Im just on this thread, defending Cain. :D
I'll happily take either one of them. Romney is the one who's unacceptable as far as I'm concerned.
Well, so are Paul and Huntsman, but they don't really have a shot.
I do think this schtick about Cain and sexual harrasment is a liberal hit piece, perhaps RINO, perhaps democrat, either way it's ridiculous how much traction it has gotten in the media.
This reminds me of what they tried to do to Palin.
Yes, you could be right. That’s why we need to look at all the facts. They could be lying, and on the other hand, maybe he is lying.
You are not comporting yourself like a gentleman. This thread is not about my friend, Victoria. It is not about you, either. And that seems to be irritating you. Have nice day
The irrational traction in media si what makes me suspect this originated from David Axelbastard.
“he hasn’t debated well”
Perry agrees with that.
But like in the old Peggy Lee standard: “Is that all there is?”
I grew up in Ohio and we don’t treat women that way there.
We don’t do that in Texas either.
The head of the associations human resources department during Cains tenure offered a different account, telling POLITICO last week that she was unfamiliar with any complaints from female employees about Cain.
You know why that is?
Because getting rid of employees who make false/stupid charges against people by paying them off happens EVERY DAY.
The Left, through the infamous Equal Opportunity Employment Commission and their buddies in the trial lawyer bar, create this culture where employers would rather pay someone a few months salary severance (a, gasp!, five-figure settlement), or even millions of dollars, to get rid of them than have to fight blatantly false charges.
Then the Left uses the fact of these shut up settlements to say, see, that man, that company must be awful, someone actually made a SEXUAL HARASSMENT CLAIM against him!!
It's vitally important to understand how the system actually works:
Putting Herman Cain's Sexual Harassment Complaints in Context
Reagan Man! Thanks for the post. I love ya brother! I agree that Perry needs to do better in the debates. And I know he will. He has shown the amazing ability to vastly improve, overcome, and adapt throughout his career. He’ll make all of us Aggies proud, and Texas proud too. Just wait and watch, and never stop pulling for him, because in trying times like these, a good man needs a good posse.
