HPV is a communicable disease. Your daughter (if you have one) can marry a man who unknowingly carries HPV, and she would never have had done anything wrong, but still ended up infected.
Another Perry Apologist heard from.
That's what blood tests are for.
Another excuse for Big-Government Nanny-statism.
Perry, wanting to be considered a Compassionate Conservative, decided that the State was a better Parent than Parents, or that the State was a better Doctor than Doctors.
WIth that one action he proved how he was not a strong limited-government, individual rights candidate.
With that one action, no matter what his words are around election time, he proved how much of a Moderate he is at heart and how much his Democrat roots/principles are still a guiding factor in his decision making.

It’s ok to have flaws as long as you have an “opt out clause” don’tcha know?

I belong to the secret Ron Paul supporter camp that secretly wants to make other candidates fight because everybody always accuses Ron Paul of wearing a tin-foil hat...

Maybe for normal Jedi but when you’re a real deal Jedi like ron Paul. there’s only one candidate to vote for.
Unless you’re intentionally trying to give Obama a second term than you’ll support Ron Paul for Viceroy of the Galactic Republic.

That’s why Obamacare is so wonderful, because he was good enough to offer an opt out clause. You see he’s not a socialist.

And what do you propose instead of amnesty? Remember, there are 12 million plus in this country illegally. It is a math question I am asking you?

A communicable disease is not like a contagious disease. You can't spread it through a cough or just by casual contact.
If you are actively engaged in physical relations you should take personal responsibility for your own health. It's not big governments job to impose health mandates on the general population for noncontagious diseases. That is authoritarian, nanny state thinking.

If there is no reliable test for HPV, how do you know you have it?

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) was first elected in 1976 but has never authored any legislation to stop illegal immigration. This has occurred despite the fact he represents Texas which has the nations longest border with Mexico. This is so lame. Tell me what candidate has authored any such legislation or even made so much as a whimper on this issue. This is supposed to be a place for serious discussion not a place for shills from other candidate's camps. Everyone knows shills invade this site but when it is as blatant as this it is really insulting.

First and foremost, when you have a leak, you plug it which is border security. Then, if you start implementing things like eVerify and cracking down on employers you will make a big cut into the ability of them to find work and you will have a lot of self-deportations like we have seen in some States as the economy goes down. As you use things like eVerify, that will actually reduce the amount of work catching people here illegally or using fraudulent identification. The mathematical numbers are against the ‘round them all up’ calls, but that doesn’t mean forgiving the crimes they are committing is the answer. The crime isn’t just coming across the border. Just the act of staying here means they have committed tax fraud, social security fraud, identity theft, document fraud, etc. If you want Amnesty, start by freely giving an illegal access to your identity and bank accounts before you demand the rest of us in the country does so.

HPV in and of itself is nonfatal and non-hamrful its the related complications that can extend from HPV that can potentially be harmful. That's why people whom engage themselves in sexual activity should take personal responsibility and have vaccines taken voluntarily and monitor their own health.
It is not the governments job to mandate health care or do you actually support government health care mandates?

He is against E-Verify.You have got to be kidding me, Perry is against E Verify? Well, forget him. E Verify is a no brainer. It works. Any candidate that is against it can't be taken seriously.
If there are any Perry supporters out there that have information different than this. please post. Otherwise, Perry is a horrible choice for the GOP.

I was expecting something different. Understandable. There have been some Paul people lately playing games on any threads critical of him by trying to change the subject to trash Palin or Perry or Cain or Bachmann depending on who is getting the news that day. Anything to change the subject from Paul's flaws.

Blood tests are not required hardly anywhere anymore, and there are many who will not take them.
Also, as you can see from the other link, hpv can even be passed mouth-to-mouth. That can be entirely innocent of anything other than affection. It could also be non-sexual, heavy petting that kids sometimes find themselves engaged in.
Facts are stubborn things. They don’t go away because we don’t like them.
