Mel, that's fine, but are you only going to rely on what a candidate 'says' in debates? Or are you going to do some research and see what the candidate actually said and did in the past?
True, he’s not as conservative as Sarah Palin. Or Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, or others who aren’t even in the race.
So, we give it time, support those who are conservative, and see who the nominee is. If it’s Perry, what does The Bronze Titan do? Go home and sulk, form a third party and force obama upon us again? What? Give us an answer.

Very true, the southern border state politicians in general cannot be trusted to enforce immigration law. Most of them are too oriented toward pandering for Hispanic votes. What have we gotten from both Bushes, McCain and Kyl, all the California statewide officials, and most all the other border state senators? - Few exceptions in recent years.

One thread listed links to video with a description of what the links proved. The only problem was that if one followed the links he would find they proved exactly opposite of what the notes said they were about.

It's funny. I listened to Mark Davis this past week, and he certainly caught my eye when he tried to 'soft-peddle' some criticisms of Perry. I actually heard the segment where he compared Perry's Democrat-to-Republican "conversion" to Reagan's. That left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. I mean, how do you similarly compare someone who supported the Democrat agenda and was State Chairman for Gore's Campaign in 1988, and then less than a year later becomes a "Republican". Smells of political 'opportunism', not a 'philosophical' awakening, to me.
