If Sarah manages to wrest the nomination from the rest of the crowd and runs as a Republican, I’ll certainly supporter. My only fear is that someone (like Ron Paul) will run as an Independent and put Obama back in office.

I’m right here. Six months ago, I thought she would, but I don’t any more. She said she’d get in if there weren’t any good candidates. She’s praised Perry enough that I think she’s painted herself into a corner.

Which is silly since anybody paying any amount of attention to the past year at the very least could see that things were pointing to Palin most likely making a run eventually for the Presidency.
"Most likely" isn't really a solid endorsement of her running. It appears you have doubts as well.

She praised Perry as a GOVERNOR in 2010.
her recent remarks, could even be taken as a criticism,
like her reminding people, that he said he wouldn’t run.
She is emphatically NOT endorsing him.
(nor are Michelle Malkin or Mark Levine or DeMint.)
and, Mark Levine and Karl Rove are not exactly allies,
but in the past week,
BOTH have said they believe Palin is definitely running!
(and any “Republican” who wants someone endorsed by La Raza and C.A.I.R., are not Tea Party conservatives...)

That's a bummer, I'll tell you what.
