A PR stunt that killed people, and will continue killing people.

All of the gun dealers who were asked to participate, were reluctant and had to be assured the guns would be monitored and used for a “sting”. This whole thing backfired on Obama which is why he just signed a gun-grabbing exec. order. Dickwad.

Actually, you're being kind.
The difference between 1 person dying and 0 people dying isn't the difference of 1000 to 1. It's much, much greater than that.
And then when you consider that the number of people dead (now and in the future) from this program is much greater than 1...
Don't get me wrong. I'm not criticizing your post. Just building on it.
To: Kaslin
That's the final nail in the coffin for everyone in the ATF, now we just need an email exchange to Obama, to disable suicide minions.

Over 1,400 ATF-walked guns are still walking around Mexico. At least another 200 walked into Honduras. When will the next one show up at a murder scene and where?
There is no possibility that this story will go away. The sad truth is that bodies are going to be dropping for some time to come with ATF-DoJ gun-walked guns.

Since Obama was sworn in as President, do you feel safer?
Because of their policy to let guns walk, we are in more danger in our everyday lives. Because of what the Obama regime has done, the second amendment and secure borders are even more critical.

Here’s the angle that will put people in jail:
The only effective way to track a firearm is by the serial number. Once the firearm is out of your hands, you have no way of determining the serial number until you physically get the gun *back* in your hands.
Other than recovering them from crime scenes, there is no way to get the firearms back in DOJ/ATFE hands. In other words, for Operation F&F to be successful, the criminal would have to commit a *SECOND* crime (ie, murder in addition to illegal possesion of a firearm), AND drop the firearm at the scene where it could be recovered.
It’s not just that some of the guns ended up in the cartels’ hadns. The DOJ/ATF let the guns walk with the full intention that the guns would be recovered AFTER being used in a crime. That makes anyone who approved the operation an accessory to those secondary crimes.

Obamas order is awash in hypocrisy per the details of the Gunwalker scandal. It was the ATF which ordered gun dealers to make multiple sales of military-style and .50 caliber sniper rifles to known and suspected straw purchasers in the Operation Fast and Furious debacle, in which more than 2,500 weapons were allowed to walk across the border by the ATF. The dealers were already reporting multiple long gun sales and the ATF told them to make the sales anyway.Everything the 0bama administration does is deceitful and malicious.
