Right. And this debt ceiling is a scam. Rush called it. Get rid of it. I also don’t like these secret meetings to come up with the so called “Grand Bargain”. The GOP has the House and the pursestrings.
This is not surprising. Its also DAMN sad considering the deplorable poll numbers on congress........

It’s a flakey and bad idea but according to Laura I. is not going anywhere. The WH press secty kind of dismissed it.
And I cant see the house liking it at all. In the Senate the democrats have a majority, so McConnell can afford to throw up his hands, but ... Why would House vote to take away their own power of the purse????
