If you're in a one person household, and don't have any neighbors or pets you care about. You can get one of the above.
I haven't seen any of these sold lately at the usual places (SOG, SARCO, Century, etc). Are they still available?
Too late to turn around and it already is.
they will not check the homes of the aristocracy.
only those of republicans, conservatives, tea party members, subscribers to gun magazines, NRA members, GOA members, caucasian males, married people, iow americans.
He looks like Heinrich Himmler..
Warrant?
We aint got no warrant.
We dont need no warrant.
We dont got to show you no stinkin’ warrant!
Constitutional expert: FISA bill 'is an evisceration of the Fourth Amendment'"
"People need to be very, very much aware of this bill," he charged. "What you're seeing in this bill is an evisceration of the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution. It is something that allows the President and the government to go into law-abiding homes, on their word alone--their suspicion alone--and to engage in warrantless surveillance.
"That's what the framers who drafted the Fourth Amendment wanted to prevent."
Have we succumbed to willful ignorance "A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest."
THIS is spine chilling - this decision just came down from the SCOTUS! Even Alito left the door open for cart blance raids!
I also get a chill because these actions all took place, basically, at the same time - orchestrating?
The survivalists, gardeners, food storers, etc,are called nuts and are included the HOmeland Security's list of possible terrorists.
Terrorists or realists?

if it ‘sounds’ like someone is tying to hide or get rid of something??? That's all the Jack Booters need. No matter what they find or don't find - they heard ‘sounds’???
“So store lots of food
and move far from town
Live close to some wood
put seeds in the ground
And gather your friends
and live close and quiet
.............. P White Hawk
IOW, be prepared to be independent as to your acquisition to food, water and heat source...and be well away from cities and major highways... Dig in, live simple - and live ******* Example: This month just such a team shot (71 bullets0 and killed a Marine vet - they claimed he shot at them- but later had to admit:"Six days later, police admitted that while Guerena, a former Marine, was holding an AR-15 assault rifle, the safety was on and he had not fired it."
There is no mention of any drugs found, although they had time to plant anything in the hour they refused him medical attention as he bled out. (He worked night shift in the mines. Sound like a dealer? - but he WAS a VET - that put him on the list of probable terrorist.)
"Six days later, police admitted that while Guerena, a former Marine, was holding an AR-15 assault rifle, the safety was on and he had not fired it."

I agree. It will have to get a lot worse before the citizens will fight back. I expect those in power at all levels to increasingly view the citizens as subjects to be ruled. Such attitudes will attract humans who are even more evil to seek office to fulfill their sadistic fantasies. Once in power these evil humans will seek to push the boot harder on our necks. Most on the left are evil, power lustful scum.
Very dark days face our Republic.
yes
I am
wiseguy
“Following your recipe for pacifist surrender to the Totalitarians there are two more stages towards us becoming like the UK. ...”
It’s not my “recipe” but just an observation of how (modern) people behave and have behaved here in the US. This case would not have happened if it were not for the jury “rubber stamping” the case the prosecutor presented to them without even bothering to rub two brain cells together. And yes the UK is a good example of how this will all end here in the US, we will eventually be told by our masters that we have no right to self defense and they will severely punish any who dare to actually defend themselves while letting the criminals roam the streets unmolested.
Will people here react any differently than they did in the UK? Probably not, it’s human nature to follow authority and those few that do try to stand up against it will be beat down without mercy in order to provide an example to all who may be considering following their example. It’s quite effective and has been used successfully in almost all modern nation states, to one degree or another. The only way to fight this is to practice civil disobedience (i.e., jury nullification, not protests which buy you nothing but the contempt of everyone not on your side) and organized attempts at changing the laws (bribes, or as they are currently called campaign contributions, getting judges recalled, etc.).
Doing the “cold dead hands” thing sounds all macho but in reality doesn’t do anything because most people are not suicidal so really won’t do that and (more than likely) you won’t be even given the chance as they be all over you like a bad suit before you even realize that they are there.
Alito on board! and his reasoning is so convoluted it boggles the mind - all of them do. "Alito said, "Occupants who choose not to stand on their constitutional rights but instead elect to attempt to destroy evidence have only themselves to blame."
Something is afoot here -none of these pass the smell test.

“Alito said, “Occupants who choose not to stand on their constitutional rights but instead elect to attempt to destroy evidence have only themselves to blame.”
Reread that.
You gonna get the drop on a team of 10-12 goons who can get off 71 rounds in 27 seconds? Good luck with that.

You say: “Somebody in Indianna needs to move for some kind of expedited appeal to the USSC. RIGHT NOW.”
Too late.
This scares the he*l out of me - What next? MartialLaw. This is about the same thing...
SCOTUS just ruled the same thing
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_supreme_court_warrantless_entry
not only no cause sited, no evidence sited, shot 71 bullets at him in 27 seconds, lied about his having shot at them and refused him waiting medical team for over an hour while he bled out - a Marine vet who worked the mines at night - and a child in the house.

That's what they're saying. AFTER the illegal break in - IF we survive, and IF we have the money, we can sue.
This Marine didn't live to sue
http://stopthedrugwar.org/chronicle/2011/may/13/tucson_swat_team_kills_armed_hom
This man, who got invaded - wrong house - went all the way to the SCOTUS - and not only did he not win, the Supreme of Supreme Courts now says the same thing as Indianna...

There is a very chill wind blowing across America - batten down the hatches
First they came for the Patriots and Constitutionalists, and I did not speak out -
Because I was a Congress-member;
Then they came for the Tea Partiers and peaceful protesters, and I did not speak out -
Because I was a Judge;
Then they came for LCDR Walter Fitzpatrick and LTC Terry Lakin, and I did not speak out -
Because I was a General Officer;
Then they came for the sovereignty-declaring people of the Republic, and I did not speak out -
Because I was liberal Obama-loving Marxist member of the Media;
Then they came for me
And there was no one left to speak out for me.
A 21st Century American SLAVE
This all went too far because the guy was involved in a domestic dispute. His wife said let the cops in and he pushed the cop who tried to enter to make sure she was safe.
The courts take was that because it was a domestic that was easily aggravated and could escalate fast that the officers should have been able to enter.
(they noted exigent circumstances)
So what they are saying is that just because it is an arrest that is unlawful, you can not resist it just by bailing into your home and claiming the cops can’t come in.
Nor do they want to have people resist arrest and thus escalate force by both sides.
The court - instead of limiting the police, said .. let the courts determine later, through bail hearings, pre trials, motions etc.
If this had been about ANYTHING except domestic violence the consenting judge thinks he would have ruled different.
Bottom line is this is a bad deal, but not insurmountable since it is dealing strictly with an act that could have escalated in violence.
That will probably be the yardstick that this is based upon in the future.
the court document is here:
This ruling does NOT give anyone permission to do random house to house checks. That sheriff is out of his mind if that is what he *thinks* it means.
I wouldn’t do it - that is not what the court decision was about ..
Did they have a warrant?
