Trackers and cookies don't bother me. It's the almost never ending Chinese sourced firewall attacks that bother me.
Just one of the many...

#1:
I see you
Cause you won’t get out of my way
I hear you
Cause you won’t quit screaming my name
I feel you
Cause you won’t stop touching my skin
Man, how I hate having days like that.
#2
Graphic novel/CGI/Rotoscopic mixed-media total eyegasm.
Loved it.

It provokes “prey stalking mode” but maybe that’s just me.

If one ‘harvests’ your email address and you drown in a sea of spam a couple days later, you’d hate ‘em.
I have a Netgear hardware router/firewall.
Have you ever tried anything like that?
Along with a good software firewall, you don’t get much aggravation.
I stopped checking my firewall logs a long time ago...it freaked me out to see just how much scary crap was trying to bash its way in without me knowing about it.
[the worst was the “Smurfing” stuff]
Way back when I got my first one, I stupidly set the router to ‘notify me by email when an intrusion attempt is detected”.
Freaking alert emails were rolling in like an avalanche 24/7.
Turned it off after 2 days of that.

What?
How’s Gunner’s new video coming along?
He’s vanished so he must be up to something.

If you say “ogre” repeatedly, after a while it loses all meaning and makes no sense.
[kinda like me]

ROFLMAO!
What are the odds of so much wonderful stupidity converging in one particular place and time?

Have you ever tried anything like that?Nope. Just software, no hardware.
I turned my alert off a long time ago too. It was too distracting.
I was "cleaning up" the other day after a day of multiple shutdowns and decided to look at my logs to make sure something hadn't gotten through. I was amazed at the number of attacks.
Antivirus, malware, system cleaners...still haven't figured out exactly what causes the shutdowns, but I'm working on it.
And I know all about the full in box. I simply let my account expire from no activity.

Malwarebytes is pretty good and Zone Alarm’s internet suite is good, too.
[Kinda naggy, but good]
Malwarebytes snags the stuff Zone Alarm misses.

Doesn’t look like a gripe about what Jim does with his website, but about what turkeys like Humblegunner do to his website.
HG is too often over the edge; nobody is forced to click any links on FR; its optional.
