How do you know that? Many big business CEO's are in bed with Democrats specifically because Democrats are NOT pro business in the sense that they do not support small-mid sized businesses.
GE LOVES Obama, so do many other large companies. They are not pro-business, they are pro-BIG business - working hand in hand with the government to create regulations and roadblocks that prevent entrepreneurs and small-mid sized business folks from competing.
If Donald Trump is so pro-business, why does he give such massive sums to Democrats. Why did he just support Hillary Clinton a couple years ago? Think she's particularly pro-business? I thought not
Trump is simply NOT a conservative. Period. That he can so easily attract some conservative/Tea Party support by throwing a bunch of red meat to the base while demonstrating no track record of truly intellectually conservative thought is pathetic and makes the opposition to Obama look flat out silly.

The traditional candidates have one eye on the general election and Trump has made a calculation that if he wants any chance at the presidency he is actually increasing his odds from about zero by exploiting the birther issue. That was a dangerous tactic that the traditional candidates were not willing to risk because they did not face the same long odds that Trump faced in the beginning.

I totally believe Trump puts US interest above all. I remember hearing him on the radio a few months ago explaining that he was so upset that the White House had to put tents when they entertained foreign diplomats. He went on to say what a disgrace that this great Country did not have a proper ballroom to entertain in the way it should be represented. He called the Obama administration and offered to build a $50 million ballroom. Just like Beck’s red phone, he never received a call back. There is no gain for him to do that except love of Country. Trump appreciates what this Country has done for him and understands she needs him now more then ever. Mr. Levin needs to know that the only way to beat Obama will be by nominating Trump. No matter how bad Obama is he will still be a force to be reckoned with. Just look at the November election and the passing of Obamacare. The dems still held the Senate and that is probably due in part to Obama support. Levin is looking at the Country the way he wants it to be and not for the way it is. The “great one” needs to get out of the bunker and take a walk around town.

I know. And I understand the lure. We’re desperate, and Trump is that hopeful voice telling us what we want to hear, and giving Obama hell.
I understand it and feel the tug, myself, and i want to believe, too. Facing reality can be painful. I wish it wasn’t true, but we are being led over a cliff by this guy.
We should wholeheartedly support him going after Obama. But to suddenly elevate him the GOP nominee? No way in hell.
