I just have one question

Why not a single peep about Alex Jones? (who, is by far, much more in-your-face than Glenn Beck) It’s like he’s the invisible man

When I started the Tides organizations 35 years ago,...

I don't think I know of any American institution which has not been tainted or corrupted away from virtuous inception from 35 years ago. This quote would be the first indicator the author is out of touch or attempting to mislead.

By supporting Fox News Channel, you and your company are risking your reputation and good standing because they are doing just this.

His conclusion contradicts the very premise of his article. He doesn't believe in democracy nor the Constitution, but prefers violent silence of his opposition.

Check out Chaplain Halsey Williams The Middle East Crisis 3 part utube series. Even Glen has a slot on there.
I could link you to a place here on FR that another poster put the link. I am not at a puter with link possibilities at the moment. Let me know and I will ping you to the post with the link.

I suspect yours is the correct answer, although I also suspect there probably were disparate attempts to remove him from FOX, which now that he is gone only seem to better justify the actions of those who don’t see anything wrong in opposing 1st Amendment rights.

It’s kind of obvious from this thread that you must be doing SOMETHING right. LOL

Here’s the deal. Whether or NOT these cockroach-like soros entities had anything to do with Glenn’s “departure,” just the very idea that they MIGHT, or BELIEVE they had any influence, is downright fightening and makes me fear for our freedom.
Rarely have I seen such a consolidated and sustained effort to engage in the absolute destruction of a single human being for speaking truth to power, The fact that this effort was applaudd by thisadministrationis even more frightening. And we should fight this type of insidious evil with every fiber of our being.
Having said that, I DO believe that Glenn won the war. No one forced him offFox. He chose to do something that I believe is going to shock the far-left and their fellow travelers to their dark core...and Ailes is going to let him. Heck, Ailes is helping him.
This wsn’t just an attack on Beck, it was an attack from soros on Rupert Murdoch. These are the Titans, and Murdoch didn’t get where he is by being a wimp.
It’s war, folks, on a playing field that isn’t readily apparent, but it is happening.
Beck is in possession of literally explosive information. TOO explosive for him to be stuck in a 5 PM timeslot and confined to such a rigid format.
When Glenn comes out, and he will, he is going to have nukes.
I promise you.

Because Alex Jones is certifiable, along with David Icke. Does that answer your question?

Prayers for Glenn, we live in a very dangerous time. The first amendment means nothing now. We are very tightly controlled by an evil kabal.

He had been talking about moving on for a long time. He has other plans.

On the radio he said that this time next year the ones that are gloating about his leaving Fox will be crapping their pants.

Sounds like he has big plans. Just wait and see.

The Left Tracking Library and The Green Tracking Library were conceived by Ron Arnold and supported by Alan Gottlieb.

I have no doubt that Soros, Tides, Color of Change, etc. have worked very hard to get major advertisers to drop Fox/Glenn Beck. If you are a big company like Proctor & Gamble, you can certainly afford to spend your ad dollars elsewhere. If you are a smaller or family owned company, you would not want to take the risk that your advertising dollars might actually end up working against you. I'd like to see some facts and figures to show which companies have dropped their advertising from Fox because of pressure from Media Matters, etc. I would boycott anyone that doesn't believe in free speech.

I think Beck has single-handedly brought the Obama admins disgusting underbelly to millions of Americans who otherwise would have never figured this stuff out on their own. On the other hand, he’s done many thing that get on my nerves - including his big push of Pacifism (if I heard about Gandhi and MLK and “don’t react, don’t get mad” one more time I was going to barf.) I don’t think the guy really understands how dangerous Pacifism is, I think it’s a cute little fuzzy ball that makes him cry thinking of martyrs dying. In this respect, I considered him somewhat dangerous. I mean, I could only “look inside myself for the answer” so many times. He became of parody of himself. I would be watching, mouth agape, at his investigative reports and the next minute he was doing his Stuart Smalley routine. And news flash to Beck - we could not read your chalkboards or the graphics behind you 80% of the time!

I think Beck is stressed. I agree he got to repeating himself daily, for reasons I’m unsure of. He’s got that neuropathy thing going on, he’s on “Mrs. Imus” special cleansing diet, and I am not sure how much more he can expose on Fox News when no one seems to follow up on his decidedly important revelations. It’s got to be frustrating. We still have his radio show, but that has turned back to comedy central, with his idiot friend Pat doing Star Wars impersonations most of the time. And if I hear him pretend Japan does not have an ongoing nuclear disaster one more time, just to save face for his blind unabashed support of nuclear power - I will scream. He has been an immense champion of the Republic, but I cannot help but say I won’t be missing him. I’m Becked out.

TOTALLY AGREE! I have been a Beck fan for YEARS before he came to television, but whenever I called Beck out on an issue, his new “TV” fans would consider me a traitor and pounce on me.

The trouble is, on the important issues he’s exposed, what has anyone DONE about them? His fans should have formed some sort of “action” site to ACT on doing something to counteract EACH ONE OF THE evil players he’s exposed. Instead we just sit around, take in the information and let out a collective sigh. I don’t have the pc savvy or I would have done it. “Connecting” to like minded people on these “connecting” websites has netted, most importantly, a Tea Party, but the rest have netted nothing else but little cliques and like-minded b*tching sessions - accomplishing nothing.

I found your post interesting, I wanted to add something. I think that Glenn Beck wishes there were a pacifist solution, but knows there is not. No one can intelligently look at history, learn from it and think that there will be just a soptaneous hug fest. It’s not going to happen. Even if the right were pacifists, the left would attack them to know end, that is the very nature of the conflict.

Concerning this:
“ I don’t think the guy really understands how dangerous Pacifism is, I think it’s a cute little fuzzy ball that makes him cry thinking of martyrs dying.”

I was talking to my dad one day about GB, and he made the point of saying, “He says all that stuff because he wants to stay on the air, and wants to not disappear one night” (Or somethign to that effect). I tend to agree. Glenn Beck can’t be of a sound mind, and compare himself to Paul Revere and ask for a George Washington on the one had and on the other, say “Why can’t we be friends?” I wish it were the way he is wishing too, but I don’t think he doesn’t know what the conflict will come down to, IMHO. People are already violent, it just gets no press. They’ll be worse as it warms up, I’m sure. That’s why it’s best to remove ourselves as best we can from the hot spots, to not be caught up in the situations we don’t want to be found in, and have little control over.

“It’s kind of obvious from this thread that you must be doing SOMETHING right. LOL”

Well, I don’t know about that, but I give it 100%!

“Here’s the deal. Whether or NOT these cockroach-like soros entities had anything to do with Glenn’s “departure,” just the very idea that they MIGHT, or BELIEVE they had any influence, is downright fightening and makes me fear for our freedom.”

The whole point of the article. A gazillion words boiled down to one paragraph.

I would prefer if I, as the viewer, got to make that decision, not some unwashed libs or Cass Sunstein. That was the whole point.
