I hope I’m doing this right....
Ping!
Now that is a lengthy post! My short answer would be yes. My medium answer is, “Maybe, but he wanted out anyway.”
My long answer is:
When Fox Shhh-ed their anchors a few weeks back, I really saw a change in Glenn Beck’s show. And I’ve seen the show regularly for a few years. He went from giving some great exciting info, to giving important info, and repeating the same thing day after day. I also think he is afraid to say some of the things he really ought to, but who isn’t.
In any event I think he’ll be happier doing his next project(s). I know I would be.
I think we won’t know until the deal is done and he has moved on. (and maybe not even then). It is easy to put a bunch of pieces together and think you’ve found the picture, but sometimes those pieces can be re-arranged and have a completely different picture.
His departure could be as simple as something regarding conflicts of interest and anti-competing rules with Fox regarding his radio program and websites. I know Hannity had to change how he promoted his websites and tours to fit in with Fox’s non-compete rules. Maybe Beck didn’t want to bend to those OR he violated some rule regarding it.
I don’t know, just another speculation.
My short answer is No... He has decided to go at it alone with his radio station and his planned TV enterprise. He was way too over involved with FOX and decided to break.
Such is life... Fox, their loss, but they were possibly losing money in advertising so maybe it is a win for both sides.
The going rate for tin foil has doubled. You know they hate it ;)
Sorry about the length.....
I just don’t think this is Kosher....something is wrong....I just can’t put my finger on it....
A network like Fox News doesn’t deserve a journalist the caliber of Glenn Beck.
He was the ONLY PERSON on that network reporting news.
That’s it. No one else there does a damn thing besides blah blah blah for morons.
His departure has left me with no reason whatsoever to watch that channel, so I won’t.
Glenn seems to find the whole idea hilarious.
Your guess is as good as mine. I hope you’re right.
Do you think I’m way off the mark ?
The more I think about it, the more a non-compete issue makes sense. This came up shortly after his launching The Blaze.
It could have been an avalanche of issues as well, or heck, Beck’s choice. Maybe he wanted to “Go Galt”.

You got that right.
Need to look at that pic.
“It could have been an avalanche of issues as well, or heck, Becks choice. Maybe he wanted to ‘Go Galt’.”
That may very well be, but I also can’t ignore what I found in my post form hell, either. I’d like to believe that this was a simple business decision, but when you toss $oros and Herr Susnstein in the mix....it gets dicey.
My one and only comment on conspiracy theories.
Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.
Hee-hee! :)
Beck certainly had enough to be paranoid about.
In some cases, sure.
