LOL, my point exactly. He is worse than all of the people we have sworn off, yet because he is a media darling, people are swooning over him like he is Justin Beiber.
.
Relax, guys. Trump isn’t really running. He’s messing with Obongo.
And I say- GO TRUMP!

Palin came out laughing at Trump while using the establishment obfuscation talking point of citing the newpaper birth announcements as evidence if US citizenship. Then while still chuckling she admits Trump is taking the heat of her and the other political elite cast of probable candidates. so, I as a concerned & learned voter have to ask mysekf, what the hell is she so afraid of? If she can not stand up to the enemies within, why in the hell should we trust her with a 3am call?
That does not bode well and it is a slap in the face to the US Constitution loving Americans who just want to see it still somewhat in tact in 2012 so we can fix what broken over the decades to come. So we leave the country in better condition for our children & their children, not for the children of foreigners who are here as long as they respect & abide by our laws, not what they think our laws should be.
Just my opinion, not only is he messing with Obama, it will come out in the end he is positioning Hillary. I think he is messing with both sides.
I may be completely wrong, but I predict that in the next few months, Hillary will quit and form an exploratory committee to primary Obama and Trump will turn on the right that is licking his feet now. I’m sure he’ll find some dirt on Obama, but it won’t be to our side’s advantage, they’ll use it for Hillary’s advantage against both sides.
That’s just my guess.
I always thought that divorce settlements were a rich man’s tax myself. :)
Truth is, there are no true fiscal & moral conservatives in DC because of the political process it takes to get there. The true conservatives don't have the stomach for it and anyone that tells you otherwise is a liar. So we weigh our options and vote for the one who hides the least, is not afraid of direct confrontation on the smallest of issues and is not willing to blink in the face of them.
So keep taking your information from decades old material, then read my tagline........... I refuse to vote for another Bush like candidate who doesn't have the “where-with-all” to stand on his/her convictions in the face of the opposition without wavering.
So what? Most of the things we hold against Romney or held against Rudy were decades old but they still were part of their issues history and a reflection of where they stood. Trump is all over Obama now for things that are 40+ years old and still completely relevant. Politicians are like used car salesmen (one step beneath them)- they will say whatever they need to at the moment to get elected. You always have to weigh what they say against their entire history to see if it is the truth. Trump has a history of self-promotion and always saying at the time he needs to make a sale, what it takes to close it, no matter if it is the truth or not.
Which is really funny and a contradiction of the rest of your post as you are looking at what Trump says now on some issues versus his history and that Trump is to the left of all the Bushes. He doesn't stand on convictions without wavering. He says what he needs to say to get the sale. The only conviction he is true to is Trump. If you want to weigh if he stands by his convictions, you have to look at his history of where he stood to see if he wavers- and that means looking at decade old stands if needed.
I know of one wealthy couple who just said screw it and went to New Zealand. They keep their money in off shore banks and seem quite happy.
But that's not the real issue. The real issue is not where they live, but where they put their capital to work. And if you don't think capital is mobile, you're dead wrong. Besides, with the top 10% of the income earners already bearing 70% of the tax burden, doesn't that seem to be enough? If I make a list of what the rich add to this system compared to the poor, I have a hard time figuring out why we revere the poor so much in this country. If you want to give more to the poor, fine...write them a check, but don't make me write one, too.
The quickest way to gain attention is propose something that will never be done or even reasonably attempted. Makes a good headline though.
I say we tax the hell out of all these rich bastards and then try to figure out where the jobs (and the rich people) went?
If you are going to proclaim it, be sure to be wearing your Che shirt at the same time so you fully fit the profile.
Idiots all!
Ever heard of sarcasm? Oh yeah, let’s all wear Che tea shirts!
I use it judiciously like in #53.
Heh...Oh okay!
Really sorry, but you sounded just like a Democrat that I was confused...heh...sorry....
I know the Nazis did it to the Jews, so this must be the new Progressive form of Antisemitism.
By the way, if you really want to see if Trump fits your bill as being willing “to stand on his/her convictions in the face of the opposition without wavering” I suggest you read his book “The America We Deserve”. He says that things like Amnesty for illegals is ‘necessary’, calls for national health care and says abortion is a fundamental right.
Weigh that against what he is saying now. Is that ‘without wavering’ or saying whatever he needs to to the audience de’jour he is pandering to?
