Was this reporter locked in the closet without his cell phone? Did he have the capibility to beat on the walls or door, holler and in general cause a ruckus?
Don’t need locks; a simple door stop wedge will keep the average person in quite well. Been there, done that.
When drudge had the story originally from the reporter, there was no lock, the reporter was just put there until his time to come out. He kept sticking his head out asking if it was time for him yet so it seems the story above is greatly exaggerated from what is originally reported.

Do liberal media types know who you are and know you are at FR?
See link at 103, doesn’t sound like they even tried to lock him in (be it real lock or wedge), he kept sticking his head out asking when it was his time to come do his reporter thing.
Well, from what you’ve posted, it’s clear that the reporter is a “team player” and is going to take one for the team.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets some really high profile interview in the future for being such a good lap dog.
Yes. He was great. Smart guy.
First, I didn't get it from the Sentinel story. That blog didn't tell 10% of the story. In addition, the emphasis was all wrong, too. It was more of an apology than an expose.
I got mine info from a Sentinel photo editor, over some beers, who was pissed about lack of coverage, and in fact, the lack of outrage.
And secondly, since “you are sure this is not the first time (I) have “pulled” this,” and that is purely a baseless, libelous and false ad homonym attack, and that is banned by FR, please ban yourself from FR for at least 72 hours.
The reality is, you have a significant group of current and former REAL conservative current and former journalists doing some real reporting here, but all too often, they get prevented from doing so by some inexperienced non reporters who have been given a little authority, but little common sense.
BTW, If you are so cowardly as to ban me from FR for telling the truth, your loss, far from mine.
The libs do not. Some conservatives do.
MORE.
Occasionally, when conservative reporters can't get a story past liberal editors, sometimes they tip me or two or three other retired reporters, who leak it here or elsewhere, and it then gets legs.
He is running it a column topper... but of course... what does he know....
As for the case of public opinion, we have a reporter who is agreeable with being kept out of contact for a duration, yet able to cover a controlled event open to the press.
As far as I can tell, this is the normal situation with reporters.
And as you also well know, anybody who starts with the lawyer-speak is banned...
And it's spelled, "ad hominem", Mr. Winchell...
Yes but would rather not discuss it......too hot a subject for these forums.
:)
I'm cooling off. It's just a good story and wanted FR to have it first. Sentinel and reporter are now circling wagons to try to minimize criticism of failure to report the story.
Have a good weekend.
LOL! Perfect.
Vincenzo: [Sick to his stomach] "Start somewhere else, Carl."
In order to avoid self-incrimination, or crippling embarrassment, I won't ask which side of the door you were on.
I’ll cool off, too..thanks.
All I can imagine is finally getting my chance as a pool reporter and some clown says you have to stay in a closet.
