Welcome aboard, PINGEE #76.
Yeah, old nurses are dangerous. I had one who lamented the death of reusable syringes because, “They weren’t as sharp and you could really feel the needle go through the layers of skin and muscle.”
In the assumption that I paid the initial $10 in cash. Instead I used a $10 register rewards from last week when I used my Sinex coupons to buy 4 boxes of Sinex. They were on sale for $5 each and my coupons reduced that down to $1 each but that was reduced further by another $2 in Register Rewards from when I bought a tube of Colgate earlier. Bottom line is that TODAY I only spent a buck out of pocket on Fish oil and chow since the initial $10 was register rewards, NOT cash out of pocket.

I clip the weekly coupons and ad pictures of the sale items (that don't require coupons) from each store I plan to buy and tape them (small piece of tape on the top of the coupon) to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, organized by store. In this way I don't leave the store without buying what I intended to buy. I fold over the piece of tape onto the top of the coupon when I hand it in when I pay for groceries, At the end of the week, I toss the sheet of paper with unused coupons and pictures of sale items I decided not to buy after all.
I carry a small envelope in my purse with manufacturer coupons, organized by frozen, boxed, bottles, personal, cleaning and pet food.
Please add me to your exploding ping list!
Thanks,
