I think if they nominate a Romney type, they will not win anyway...and it may be time to bury the dead.
When I say I will consider a third-party vote, I mean a Tea Party candidate. If such appears, I do not expect the Rs would field a prez candidate in 2016, and the Rs would effectively be history.
If they do, they're history...why would anyone vote for that...that political camel?
Dude, you’re the one who’s making it personal, and yet still don’t know how to put a critical thought down. Do me a favor: Keep on posting on these Palin threads, keep doin’ what yer doin’. We’ll gain more converts to Palin with absurdists like you arguing against her than we would by the usual route. You couldn’t debate a bobble head doll.
I was an early, vocal, persistent supporter of W. All the good things he did re foreign policy and judges were balanced by his disastrous, d@mnable domestic policy, his big government 'conservatism.'
In that sense, W did more to cripple fiscal conservatism than any number of Barney Franks or lamestream media could ever do...and the debt, deficits and unfunded liabilities are, IMO, as great a danger to the survival of the Republic as Al Qaeda.
Mitt Romney, for example, will only manage the beast in a more disciplined way, will trim around the edges. He will not make the case that big government is the problem, and he will not cut what needs to be cut. I say this for one reason: Romney Care.
Palin is the only current prospective candidate who 'gets it.'. Only she knows what has to be done and has the gut for doing it and the ability to sell it. If she does not win the nomination it will be because of the hatchet jobs and character assassination, not from the left or the LSM, but from her fellow Repubs.
She's running; I have no doubt. And frankly, her performance to date is so head and shoulders above any other person on the list, that she will soon lap the field.
As for her endorsement, I consider she endorsed John McCain. I remember one lady who showed up at a Palin event for McCain who freely admitted she showed up because of Sarah, but wouldn't be voting for McCain.
Sarah has corrupted the value of her endorsement.
Okay...if true, you could name two male candidates for whom you've decided their 'appropriate role.'
It will be the end of the RINOs as a political force; we'll have the divorce everyone knows is coming anyway.
In such a scenario, Sarah would still get more than 30% of the vote.
I don’t need to “debate a bobble head doll” with drooling drama queens like you who lather your panties with idiotic fantasies. I am way closer to the source than you will ever be and I promise you smart guy, she ain’t running. Period. That is all I will say, but you keep on practicing being the smartest guy in the room, and making love to yourself.
You betcha! Course we really don't know who's running, but suppose it's Huckabee---that's one I don't think of as presidential. Much better suited to a religious calling, or he hasn't done that badly with his FOX show. Then there's Newt Gingrich? Don't see him in that position either. Much better in a scholastic environment, plus his negatives are very high.
There are just some things about S.P. that, on the surface, seem very petty, but they are nontheless things that I don't view as presidential. Bottom line, IMO, it's just going to be more difficult for a woman, no matter who she is, to become president, and heaven knows, we can't do this alone---it's going to take a large portion of voters outside of our party, and I'm not sure that's possible.
Maybe you should add a little more bran to your diet
