sion and I were having a conversation about watches, and I told him of my late fiance, years ago, who couldn’t wear wind-up watches. For some reason, they always stopped. So he got an Accutron when they first came out.

I just got back from Walmart, where I got a heater (!!!) a couple of bottles of $2.97 wine, and felt awesome!!!

Of course, it’s still too warm for the heater, but I plugged it in, anyway, so it looks ready for work!

Since I’ve been awake since 2:00, I should be winding down now, but except for my back giving me fits, I’m OK. For now.

I think the Indians have him all figured out. They’ll be nice, but that’s about it. They will tolerate him. Because they are so polite.

I don’t watch much TV. And NEVER pay attention to affiliates of the liberal stations. They don’t broadcast the news. They broadcast their opinion of the news. Usually, that means there really isn’t much of a story and that it had to be embellished, somehow.

I think there will be more firings by more stations in the next year. People seem to think they are untouchable, until someone digs up the dirt on them. That person who did the digging has actually dug his grave with the article.

I don’t have cable, but just as a citizen, I’m pleased they dumped that slime-oid.

That is a good thing not watching the TV. We just were sent 2 books for the Nielsen ratings folks. MrColdone does the TV more than I do. I do the cooking, swamp loggers stuff. He does no politics at all.

Another reason to not watch much TV. Actually, the bulk of my TV watching is done between 5:00 and 7:00 AM, when the local news is on.

They are a fun bunch of people, and though most of the stories are local and repeated, they seem to have a good handle on the conservatives in the valley. And none of them are ashamed to voice an opinion. I mean, who’s watching, anyway, at those hours?

They have a trivia question every day, and I usually email my answer, but refuse to Google it. Other folks have no shame!

Anyway, usually, by 4:00 PM, I’m ready to call it a day. I DO watch General Hospital (long story about how “that” started) but since it’s one of my two vices, I’m not ready to give it up. There isn’t much to the story lines that I haven’t been through to some degree, so it’s somewhat satisfying to see other people “suffer.” My thing is, I had no script to go by. :o])

Lately, I’ve begun watching (listening to) America’s Funniest Videos, but some of the accidents cause my stomach to clench. It’s good the TV is off to my left and slightly behind me!!
