65 now. We’re back from Mass and the byos are getting their heads shaved. Except Frank, who isn’t really a byo yet. He’s still asleep.

My previous post is stamped 11:11:01, EST, but my cell phone said it was only 10:57.

It's 3:13 here. Time is speeding up on FR.

Eventually we’ll gain a whole day, and then we’ll be way ahead of the leftists!

I hate to think about Frank’s curls being cut off.
Still windy here. I thought I had missed a zillion posts because the computer locked up again, but no one was here, so now I don’t feel so bad!

29 degrees in the sun. All the slush where they salted has frozen solid.

PUTTING THE NUCLEAR REACTOR NEXT TO A BANANA PLANTATION HAD SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME.
What could possibly go wrogn?

Who knows what mayhem a mutated banana could produce?

I could tell you a few banana stories ... but you wouldn’t be able to sleep.

We’re watching “Get Smart.” It’s fairly amusing so far, although I recall that later it cribs the plot of “Foul Play” and isn’t all that clever.

I’d be able to sleep tonight. Today has been rough on my aging body.

But it makes me remember, “I once thought I would live forever, but that was an eternity ago.”

The difference between you and me is that I could walk away from this.

It isn’t snowing yet, but the sky has that look. 28 degrees.

Got home a little bit ago after church, lunch, cellphone problem diagnosis and replacement, and time spent looking at netbooks. Snow in the trees and a little on the ground.

Radar says we're about to get some more in the next few hours but nothing headed your way. OTOH, there's more down in Oregon that could be up here by morning.

The original "Get Smart" was funny, as I recall. Didn't bother with the movie. Barbara Feldon(sp?) cannot be replaced.

Now I am enjoying the "fun" of configuring the replacement cellphone. I like the Android phone, but not Google's part in it: "Enter Google Username"? What's a "Google Username"? Turns out to be your Gmail email address. Why couldn't they ask "Enter Google Gmail address?" Liberal idiots who could have learned a LOT from Heathkit about perfecting directions.

Forever is just another word for never getting a day off.

I'm placing a couple of calls tomorrow morning to service techs who got involved in my dead work laptop situation (said laptop is no longer in the office and I do not know who has it), but if things don't move I just might take a few days off and go see HP tomorrow with LoM -- Lord knows, I've lost a lot of weekend days to business travel this year.
