There’s no snow here, but Hemby Bridge, where I buy gas, is having their Christmas Light Festival on November 20. I’m having a serious puzzlement.
They’ll send a locksmith to let you in. I guess we’d need your license plate number or something to buy you AAA. I’ll check their website.
No, I think they’re overloaded. I see the same with management here. So glad I am not a manager.
I;m sure we all know someone who makes us feel this way ...
OhboydoI!
Cute!
It’s almost 8:00 a.m., and half my family is still missing. But Jake is here!
Jake counts!!
My son called last night asking me “how many days, Ma?”
Today, it’s 19! I may have to drive to the airport and part in the economy long-term parking, as I can’t find anyone who is willing to get up at oh-dark-thirty to get me to the airport by 4:00 AM so I can spend an hour waiting to get groped.
Wouldn’t it be nice if McCarran and Little Rock both fired TSA? We’ll see more firings between now and Christmas, I’m sure.
Frank has had a bath. Jake has retired to Elen’s bed, after I smacked him for jumping on Shannon.
Walmart trip planned today. We’re out of cheese, and James needs bigger pajamas.
It would be nice if everyone fired TSA. It was a stupid idea to start with. Should be all private, imo ... airports and airlines could compete for customers by offering differing levels of efficiency vs. searches and so on.
Yeah, I’m not “manage other people” material. Managing computers, now that is just plain ol’ fun. ;-)
another morning of doing nothing.
Ah! Now THERE is a good morning sight!
I try never to run out of cheese. It’s my snack of choice when I feel my sugar dropping.
I’d like to go to Walmart after I get Miss Daisy back, but I don’t know when that will be. Besides...I have to save the money for my trip. Both my son and I are SO excited, now!
He not only has the four-day Thanksgiving Holiday off this year, but he has his son with him for all of it. They are so close, it’s not even funny.
Stop by my house. I'm off from work, but I've lots to do.
Phone's been ringing off the hook...
I'm still having issues with my CVS server as well. Before it was just the checkout procedure that was tripping things up. Now the Raritan the damn thing is hooked to is scrambling remote keyboard commands.
I know a bad little KVM switch that is going to meet a hideous end once the replacement comes in...
I love it when you talk tecchie!
I’m a giant nerd. ;-)
Yes. You. ARE!
If you have or can borrow a blood pressure cuff, use a small screwdriver to pry the door open enough to stuff it in, then pump it up, and that will give you enough room to work the coathanger in. It only cost me $180 to learn that from the locksmith last summer. He had an actual tool, but it worked exactly the same way.
Wrapped up business (sit or stand around, do nothing, occasionally answer technical questions) at noon. Am at airport now with 6 hours to kill. But am at a large and not very busy airport lounge and it has a computer I can use, though the screen is way too high and there's no mouse, jusdt a touchpad on the keyboard. But oh well...
