“Of course it would not be determined by finger length. “

Funny, the homosexuals did a study not too long ago that said the length of your fingers determined that.
Of course it was pure BS, but that didn’t stop them from stating it.

And no, if it were a hormonal thing, it could very easily be detected through Chem 50 blood analysis.
Sorry, no such findings.

No one get someone else banned - you do it to yourself by self-evident rabid, leftist posts. Bye, bye (hopefully.)

Best to you as well, newbie.

Tell me if you think the following is a "self-evident rabid, leftist post". The commenter is quoting and responding to a liberal troll:

======

and feels that we should preserve Life,
That is, unless your skull is crushed and your brains sucked out.

advance the common good
Hence the Pinko.

Perhaps it is not quite "PC" in your world view to have health care,
1) I don’t believe in PC. That’s a liberal trait designed to curtail free speech.

2) I don’t believe in health care paid for by everybody else. People used to take responsibility for their own doctor bills. Now it’s up to everybody else, to the detriment of the country.

to want jobs to stay in America,
When you support reducing the second highest corporate tax rate in the world, oppose “windfall profits taxes”, oppose raising minimum wages that only benefit the unions, oppose strangulating regulation on businesses as well as opposing the branding of businesses such as Wal-Mart, Coca Cola, Marlboro etc. as e-ville, I just might believe you have in interest in keeping jobs in America. Otherwise, it’s just meaningless fluff.

to fund education for our children so we don't end up a backwater third world country.
Oh, so you support the right to choose which schools parents send their kids to, eh? Good deal. Or does the right to choose only apply to infanticide?

As far as gay marriage, no, I don’t support the courts forcing it on the people. Despite popular belief on the left, pushing agendas is not what the courts are for.

======

So, the poster...

  1. is anti-abortion
  2. calls leftists "Pinko"
  3. recognizes PC as designed to kill free speech
  4. opposes government healthcare
  5. opposes high taxes, including on business
  6. opposes increased minimum wages, and unions
  7. opposes excessive government regulation
  8. rejects the demonization of corporations
  9. supports school choice
  10. opposes judicial activism, incl court mandated gay marriage
Can you really call that "rabid left"? Can you call it anything but solidly conservative across the board?

But I left out the last sentence:

======

pushing agendas is not what the courts are for. What’s more, I don’t need anybody’s approval or validation for my own happiness. Neither does my partner.

This is a completely typical comment from the Gay Patriot blog, run by some of the individuals who would later found GOProud. And, that date btw. Remember who we lost about that time? The comment was from a blog entry honoring Tony Snow. (Thus pining you, DJ MacWoW.)

We're fed up with being called bigots for opposing the homosexual agenda. Homosexuals are not being oppressed. They have the same rights as everyone else. They want to mainstream deviant behavior and use the force of government to do so. Enough is enough.

And everything you just wrote right there, is said or supported by gay conservative Charles Winecoff in the article I linked and excerpted in #254.

DJ MacWoW:

We're fed up with being called bigots for opposing the homosexual agenda.

Charles Winecoff:

I must be immune to gay marriage fever. Because I can’t help sympathizing with the citizens whose majority vote to defend their long-valued concept of marriage has been stigmatized as bigotry.

======

DJ MacWoW:

Homosexuals are not being oppressed. They have the same rights as everyone else.

Charles Winecoff:

Still, why the sudden urgency, the live or die hysteria for gay marriage now - or else!? Last time I checked, gays and lesbians in California enjoyed more rights than their brothers and sisters in any other state. And I can’t recall any of my West Hollywood friends ever being dragged out of their homes in the middle of the night by police and never heard from again – or told by their employers they couldn’t get health benefits for their domestic partners.

...

Gays don’t want marriage because they desperately long to be part of a stuffy, archaic ritual laden with church baggage. They want to get married because, now that they have clout and 99% of the same rights as straight people, they’ve run out of goals - and they feel entitled to the only thing that’s still beyond reach: absolute acceptance.

Didn’t mama ever tell you that you can’t please everybody?

======

DJ MacWoW:

They want to mainstream deviant behavior and use the force of government to do so. Enough is enough.

Charles Winecoff:

I’m not against gay marriage, I’m against the way it has been shoved down everyone’s throat.

======

See also the immediately preceding post, to which I pinged you.

Celibacy is a CHOICE. You did notice that, right?

Yes. It would be a choice. No one has found anything (medicine, therapy, or otherwise) that will change the sexual orientation of a happily gay person. BUT if a person is not happy being gay, he/she can force themselves to live as a hetero. It is a choice, and one that must be terribly difficult to live out, but people do it. Probably the President is doing it now. Or is he? Maybe he is just faking it.

I see you’re pushing the homosexual agenda, which is a direct assault on our liberty. There is no such thing as “gay rights.” It’s a progressive political agenda established to erode away our Christian family based moral society and our constitutional rights to free speech, freedom of religion and freedom of association. I don’t care how conservative you may be on other issues, if you advocate destroying our basic fundamental rights, then you have joined our political foes to work against us. This will get you banned from FR.

So why mention it when you’re trying to claim that homosexuals are “born that way”?

That was a Soros funded site, and there are former homosexuals who no longer have same sex attraction. So you are wrong.

Funny, the homosexuals did a study not too long ago that said the length of your fingers determined that. Of course it was pure BS, but that didn’t stop them from stating it.

I am not thinking you are getting it. There are statistics out there, you can google them, that showed that there was significance in some finger's length correlating with that person's sexual orientation. Now, significance means there is something to that correlation but it doesn't mean there are no exceptions. But as I recall, more gay people than straight had this finger length difference. That would be a fact, but who knows what to do with it?

And no, if it were a hormonal thing, it could very easily be detected through Chem 50 blood analysis. Sorry, no such findings.

There doesn't seem to be a hormonal significance with adult gays and straights that we have heard of, has there? The studies I quoted dealt with androgens in a woman's uterus during pregnancy, something difficult to test. And, for obvious reasons, there must be pressure NOT to run these massive tests (which would be their nature be invasive to a pregnancy). They do notice a correlation between a child would would later be known gay and the number of older brothers born to his/her mother. They have figured that there must be a more androgenic environment in that woman's uterus thereafter.

I am sure Cheney would be insulted by the demeaning way gays are treated by some FReepers. Of course he wants his daughter to have a good, happy, conservative life, gay or not. If only FReepers were a little less harsh on gays.

Homosexuality is not caused by hormones. It isn't genetic. It is a conditioned behavior. Even the APA has backed off the genetic claim. You keep ignoring that.

The Bible may have been wrong about what goes on inside the uterus in some parts. It says that a baby is not "alive" until it draws its first breath,

What Bible are you reading?!

Jeremiah 1:5

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Luke 1:41

41When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Only living beings can be known or leap for joy.

I m ‘getting it’, you’re grasping at straws.
The homosexual community will latch onto ANYTHING that will ‘prove’ that their decision is not a decision.
Hence bogus studies that say that finger length determines sexual orientation.

“There doesn’t seem to be a hormonal significance with adult gays and straights that we have heard of, has there? “

It’s called standard baseline in medicine, so your theory is bogus.

You know, we are just not going to agree on this.

I believe in the innocence of the child who is to become gay. You don’t.

People used to believe autistic people were “losers” or “retarded.” They were not.

I’m about love and acceptance of them up until they do something actively offensive, and being gay to me is not actively offensive. They can’t help it, unless they force themselves to change, which doesn’t happen easily or young.

“who is to become gay.”

No such bird.
It is a choice.
That’s like saying “Feel sorry for someone who is to become a mechanic” as they are born that way.

I got this online:

After God formed man in Genesis 2:7, He “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and it was then that the man became a living being”. Although the man was fully formed by God in all respects, he was not a living being until after taking his first breath.

In Job 33:4, it states: “The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”

Again, to quote Ezekiel 37:5&6, “Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

end of what I found online—————————

I do NOT agree that a breath is needed before life. Sadly my religion has not come around yet. In Judaism no formal funeral / burial services are given for the late miscarriage or stillborn. It’s a shame, I believe.

Oh, and the APA thing — I hate the APA so I care little what they think or say.

What's your point? He isn't against homosexual marriage. I am. Two of the same kind cannot mate. They can only simulate normal relations. Homosexual behavior is aberrant behavior.

Homosexual lifestyle also kills. And it shortens the lifespan. Homosexuals have health problems brought on by their aberrant sexual activity. It is not a healthy life.

And I warned you not to push it on FR. Jim has been zotting people for it. This is not a debate forum. It is a Conservative activist site.
