But don’t worry - I spent 3.5 years of my life helping to protect your beloved Denmark from Soviet aggression...since Denmark wouldn’t step up to the plate themselves.

Protecting the peace. Doing the job the Danish won’t do...the US military.

You are such an insulting liar, always self-promoting, yet still a liar

Here are a few notes from the U.S. State Department you can chew on, FINO!!!

Denmark has been a member of NATO since its founding in 1949, and membership in NATO remains highly popular. There were several serious confrontations between the U.S. and Denmark on security policy in the so-called "footnote era" (1982-88), when a parliamentary majority forced the government to adopt specific national positions on nuclear and arms control issues that were at variance with Alliance policy. With the end of the Cold War, however, Denmark has been an active and supportive member of the Alliance.

Danish-Iraqi relations are foreign relations between Denmark and Iraq. Denmark has an embassy in Baghdad and a trade office in Basra, Iraq has an embassy in Copenhagen.

The U.S. Air Force (USAF) base and early warning radar facility at Thule, in northwest Greenland, serves as a vital link in Western and NATO defenses. In August 2004, the Danish and Greenland Home Rule governments signed agreements allowing for an upgrade of the Thule early warning radar in connection with a role in the U.S. ballistic missile defense system. The same agreements also created new opportunities for both sides to enhance economic, technical, and environmental cooperation between the United States and Greenland.

Denmark's relatively quiet and neutral role in international affairs abruptly changed on September 30, 2005, when the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten printed 12 caricatures of Mohammed. Islamic law prohibits any visual portrayal of Mohammed, and Muslims viewed the caricatures as offensive. Muslims worldwide were infuriated with the Danes, began a boycott of Danish products, and burned Danish flags and the Danish embassies in Damascus and Beirut. The Danish Government during the crisis sought to defend freedom of expression even as it chastised the newspaper for insensitivity toward a religious minority.

Since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States, Denmark has been highly proactive in endorsing and implementing United States, UN, and EU-initiated counter-terrorism measures, just as Denmark has contributed substantially to NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. It currently has about 750 soldiers in Afghanistan, operating without caveat and concentrated in Helmand province. In 2003, Denmark was among the first countries to join Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), supplying a submarine, a Corvette-class ship, and military personnel to support OIF’s coalition in Iraq. Denmark in the end provided 500 troops to assist with stabilization efforts in Iraq. Denmark withdrew most of its troops from Iraq in August 2007, when Iraqi forces took over security responsibilities in the Basra area where Danish troops had been concentrated. Denmark maintains a small residual troop contingent that supports the NATO Training Mission in Iraq.

U.S.-DANISH RELATIONS Denmark and the United States have long enjoyed a close and mutually beneficial relationship. Denmark and the United States consult closely on European and other regional political and security matters and cooperate extensively to promote peace and stability well beyond Europe’s borders. Denmark largely shares U.S. views on the positive ramifications of NATO enlargement. Danish troops support ISAF-led stabilization efforts in Afghanistan. President George W. Bush made an official working visit to Copenhagen in July 2005, and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen also met with President Bush at Camp David in June 2006 and in Crawford, Texas in March 2008.

And lastly, Mrs. Rogers guess who is the head of NATO, and had it not been for a Great Dane, Mr. Niels Bohr, who I delivered fish to as boy from my father's fish business, you would never been able to create the Atom Bomb ending the war on the Pacific side, hmmmm!!! On March 21, 2003, the Danish Parliament made a fateful decision to support U.S. military action in Iraq and, in fact, contribute naval assets to the war.

In 2006, the Iraqi Transport Minister Salam al-Malki announced freezing all economic relations with Danish companies in protest against insulting cartoons published in the countries newspapers.[1]

The State Department has never been known for telling the truth about other countries. The Danes have sat on their butts while the Americans kept the free world free.

Let’s see - they sent 500 troops. The US sent 130,000. And ours fought.

So let’s us see, you armchair pacifist, IIRC it was the U.S. that invaded Iraq/Afganistan, NOT Denmark, right? But as usual Denmark stood by it’s side, as they mostly do??

IIRC also, FDR sent back a ship load-full of Jews to Hitlers gas-chambers, while the Danes looked after theirs and smuggled them over to Sweden???

You are such a FINO blow-heart still having your knee-pads on...... Question AGAIN: why are so adamant defending your dear Furhrer’s sealed records be known to the public, WHY????

And it is Not surprising to see your treasonous attitude. As you now trying to belittling one of United States’ most supporters, Old Denmark, that once was a powerhouse in Europe, even discovered my NEW country here before anyone else and by ancient history and war fares, Denmark was marginalized and became a very SMALL country . That’s what history tells us, Empires comes and goes after a “short” time period!

And with people like you without cojones (in contrary to Lt.Col. Lakin who is NOT afraid to put his career on the line to stand up for his Constitutional rights,) then it won’t take long time either for “your” United States to face the same imperial history of going down the tube and be ruled under Sharia Law!!

Your very dear “leader” shows that his intentions very clearly leading in that direction. He is a Muslim, and showed it, a muzzie from the very first beginning that he appeared on the scene. His name says it all:

BHO…mmmmm…mmmmm…mmmmm!!!

You may still be pounding your breast plate of how superior you are to others, I call it a self imposed “hero” brain washed hogwash!

I left Denmark and Sweden in 1975 because of the Social Democrats were stealing up to 65% of my pay checks, a bit toooo high for me to swallow, and spending them like your favor Fuehrer is now emulating, being an illegal alien and usurper that you soooo much worship!!

Since 2010 the Socialists was sent pounding by the Danish people having a coalition government leaning toward Conservative and changed the political landscape drastically!!

I just saw this on Drudge report a few minutes ago, and I think it could be a good lesson for the U.S. vs DK with an unemployment half the size of U.S. Still I’m an American citizen, rooting for “Old Glory” and for what it stands, including the Constitution. However, I’m now also proud of my former country and its accomplishment, regarding your laughable ridicule together with your other body on this thread!!!

Now this here is NOT from your State Department:

"The United States and Britain placed 11 and 14 in the Newsweek study, compared with 14 and 17 on Gallup's list.

Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands were all in the top 10 in Newsweek's analysis, whereas they took top five in Gallup's. Iran was 79 on Newsweek's list, and 81 on Gallup's."

And you say what???

I say I still prefer the United States to live in, LOL!!!
