Obviously I don't work down at Gitmo with our Intel and Mil folks....but I cannot help but wonder why at this late date, they have not tried and sentenced him to death then carried out the sentence. Surely they have gotten everything they could possibly could out of this piece of puke. And in his case as many others of them, why is a piece of my Federal taxes going into feeding this useless POS, while he lays around a fat slob with the best health care, access to his as*hole book, laying around having to do nothing, which he most probably loves to do, etc..
It should have been promptly done before the commie was elected. GWB, Dick, and others knew fully well what kind of far left socialist and communists where soon to take office.
And so did the majority of our great Intel and Mil folk. It fizzes me off to no end.
There. I have gotten it off my chest. Something I have wanted to say for a few years now.
With that FT, I bid thee a great upcoming day. I have to hit the sack for a early work schedule.

“Obviously, the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world’s imagination”

UH!! When I first heard this, my brain went into convulsion, my head shook in disbelief and a my left eye started twitching, so strong was the incongruity and idiocy of that statement.

Man landing on the moon captures the world’s imagination. reaching the top of mount Everest captures one’s imagination. Captain Sullenberger’s landing on the Hudson captures our imagination. Mother Teresa incredible giving captures the world’s imagination. OUT OF THE ORDINARY ACHIEVEMENTS capture our imagination!

Wanton, revolting cruelty like Pearl’s public beheading should capture our disgust, outrage and resolve to kill the bastards that committed such deliberate evil.

That he was able to utter such words in that occasion remembering that horrific act shows how incredibly devoid of compassion this mistake of a president is.

Exactly right. The Democrats have sided with the enemies of our nation, to wit they too are enemies of the state.

The phrase capture the imagination is applied to events that have the potential to inspire human progress. Obama's use of it was thus entirely appropriate, given his goals and world view.

Hey DINGLE BARRY,

Cutting the head off a Jew with a dull knife would only capture the imagination of a radical islamofacist. Its obvious to any rational thinker that you are practicing Taquiyya.

It is so. They are very much alive while they are being decapitated. And the decapitator takes his time and mocks the victim while he is doing it. You are smart for not watching it. It will haunt you for the rest of your life. Some things are just too horrific to watch.

There is definitely sociopathy there. Especially because he did not do an IMMEDIATE self-correction, as even Joe Biden would have done. A malaprop like that requires from a person of decency an IMMEDIATE "I mean, captured the world's ATTENTION, oh my gosh, ATTENTION! A HORRIFIC MOMENT FOR THE WORLD!" You would see the person bend over backward to correct the ghastly misspeak.

The President calmly went on, instead. He implied that it was Pearl's journalism that caused his death, not his being an American Jew, two birds in one. Surely the President knows what KSM and Al Qaeda is all about. It can only mean he does not care.

When I think of an event that “captured the world’s imagination”, I think of something like Mei Xiang the Giant Panda having a baby Panda in captivity; not Daniel Pearl’s brutal murder!!!!

if it doesn’t directly involve him,the President pays little attention to anything.Which is why he has hoof in mouth disease

Any decent and rational person would think that the significance of Daniel Pearl’s murder was actually that the west is up against a psychopathic death cult which has a particular aim of killing Jews and destroying America.

Barack Obama IS a psychopathic death cultist.

Excellant post, albeit sad.

I am more depressed than jubuliant about November.Hopefully we will get quite a few turnovers. But the dramatic stopping of this evil machine...I think not.

Its hard to affect change, when the Media is locked up and there are no “rules” that can’t be changed, ignored, stepped over, etc. and when the green light for voter fraud and intimidation was given by the Black panthers.

I think you've nailed it. We should refer to 0bama as "our Great National Mistake"

"The Democrats have sided with the enemies of our nation, to wit they too are enemies of the state."

I think the entire Democrat Political apparatus needs to register in DC as agents of a foreign state. Several foreign states, in fact.
