Thanks for the link gunny!
I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races - that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And in as much as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.[16]
Most of these RINO Lincoln loving so called Freepers are from up north. Imagine that. Kind of mirrors the republicans politicans up there wouldn’t you say?
I would say the geo-political maps of 1860 and today are pretty much in alignment, replace the red color with grey and there you have it. And yes, a “conservative” in the North has a different view of the republic than the southern “conservative” generally spealing.

They don't understand that political party's switch sides.. If they truly believe that 'Lincoln' would support today's Republican party, their crazy. It's mostly Republicans leading the charge to nullify federal law. It was a Republican that mentioned Secession(Perry)..
Nope, the New England States have always been socialist!
grrruf Yap! Yap! yapyapyap!!
Every one of those disHonest Abe 'quotes' was stolen from Franklin, Jefferson, etc.
Yap! Yap! Yapyapyapyapyapyap!!
Ah, yes, good ol’ Lincoln.
“If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that.”
He was in favor of rounding up all blacks and sending them to Liberia. He was NOT in favor of freeing the slaves and letting them have equal rights. I am so sick of the Lincoln as Messiah myth that is perpetrated on this country.
