I also think the old man's a bit gay too (and terrified of it).
That will probably be his torment in hell with red-hot implements.

NO, no and hell no.
I support free speech, but I thought that the First Amendment was to protect citizens from the gov’t, not to protect heinous behavior like Phelps’
This is worse than yelling “fire” in a crowded theater. What about any rights the father has????

Slander, instigating violence. ughhhhhhhh

And if he’d done this at my murdered soldier son’s funeral, I’d have shut him up myself.

They were both full of it. She claimed Alito was “far right”

True she did not have an example, yet O'Reilly probably would have been had pressed to have provide another instance of the guy he was criticizing being a 'loon'. Therefore, I would have tossed the ball back in his court. If he did I would have said "you got me" and if he failed I would have at least have reached an equilibrium.

True, but the law in this case didn't require the father to pay the court fees of the Westboro loons.

Mandated reimbursements are common after appellate court cases so the court did what it often does. In this case, the party being awarded was more undesirable than usual making the decision more unpalletable but certainly not unusual.
