We have some snow crystals here, and it is COLD!!! Batten down the hatches! Light the fire, get hot chocolate and lots of dark rum, grab your sweetie and settle in!
Every time I think of going out to take piccies of Mt. Charleston and the snow, it clouds up and snows up there again.
72 and clouding up. Frank and I had a nap, and now I’m working on the list for Walmart.
Snow all over the place, now. I don’t know if any of this will stick, but when the weather clears, I’ll try to remember to get out and take photos of the Valley and the Spring Range to the west.
Maybe tomorrow.

Yep. Snow at this time of year has only happened 15 times in the last 120 years for us.
My personal opinion is that it’s Nature’s Way of making Al Girly-boy eat crow.
I don’t think anything will penetrate Algore’s rock-hard skull to the tiny brain inside, but at least history will recall how we all froze from Globull Warming.

Normally, I try to keep my opinions to myself, and ask for forgiveness when I get obnoxious!

Back from Walmart. The girls are making supper tonight, something they made at their cooking class on Friday.

Are they using real ingredients?
Will they cook a meal for me?
Yes, they are; and sure, if you want them to.
I want all your children to explain to me why they are doing the things they do, and if I can help with badges, I will be more than happy to.
I will (pardon me) expect meals from kids, male and female, and also expect a thorough dissertation from the keepers of the dragons, snakes and other inhabitants of the TC abode on how and why they made the choices they did.
FYI, I’m not coming just to “visit.” If I have to be the screamer in Driver’s Ed, I’ll expect something in return!
After they all go to bed, life will be enormously GOOD!!
That sounds very exciting! They will all be thrilled to talk your ears off, I’m sure.
The supper encountered some difficulties, but DP is fixing them. Sigh. Apparently it’s my fault for putting aluminum foil on the pan where we baking the pieces of sweet potato. Oh, well.
Your kids are the future. If my visit can help them on their ways, then that is awesome!

Your visit will make them very happy. They *love* visitors just as much as Ash does.
Let them know I’m coming to see THEM, as well as you. No matter what they do, I will be interested in each one of them! Just not the day I get there!!!
The day you get here, we’ll give you supper and a Restorative and put you to bed! That’s what we do with OldTax-lady on the first day of a visit.
When it gets closer, you can tell me what you want for your inaugural meal, so we can have it ready.
Oi! any meal is good...beef tacos, meatloaf, hamburgers, anything one (or more) of the kids is brave enough to cook, I’ll accept, as long as a Restorative is included. I’ll even count the meal for a Grade!!
I’ll hug any body that comes near me, and will try to hug them all and let them know that I’ll have time for all of them if they will just let me sleep!!
I suspect I’ll be spoiled before I leave there!!
