I don't want my president to be someone who I could envision living next door to me; washing their car on Saturday afternoon just like me; managing bills like me; as limited in their view of international affairs as me; and, plainly spoken, as common as me. I don't want my leaders using crib notes from the palm of their hand.

looks like he wants to be lorded over by an elitist... like a plantation owner or maybe even a king

the person that wrote this article most likely does not handle personal responsibility very well.

I want my leader to be super smart, map-savvy, well connected and not incredibly small-minded and simple.

After ranting how simple Sarah is he shows how learned he is by incorrectly using the idiom "the next thing since sliced bread." Most Tea Party goers know Palin is "the best thing since...

This joker don’t know the Sarah Palin that I’ve been watching since early 90’s. If he thinks OB has his act together, well he should be terrified of Palin. She’ll bring change for sure. These simple fools will be jumping off high bridges before Palin is sworn in.

Actually, I’m tired of lawyer presidents, and I much prefer a former governor who rose to that position all on her own from the humble beginning of a PTA mom.

Hockey Mom

And govenor, and buisnesswoman, and television comentator, and college graduate, and author of a multimillion seller, and loving mother, and Christian, and a person of conviction and moral fiber, and nice person.

It seems to me the Harvard/Yale/Princton types have gotten us into this economic catastrophe, moral marrass of relativism. Their public school system has dumbed-down million and millions of students. Their diversity, which they proclaim to be essential to progress of society, excludes this accomplished woman.

That the intelligentia of this country cannot see this is reason enough to ask for a well grounded, moral person (Mrs.Palin) who could govern this country should give us all pause. They said the same of Ronald Reagan. They were wrong then, and they are wrong now.

" At the end of the day, the president of the United States should be smarter, more logical, more politically astute, more learned, more connected, more global in their thinking, more scholarly, more insightful, and just about more everything than the man or woman next door. That's what a leader is. "

Derrick ?

The reason why she appeals to many is that she IS NOT a condescending elitist snob who thinks their academic credienticals in the best thing since sliced bread and rubs that in other people's noses.
She's got more insight, and the pulse of what the REAL AMERICA is all about than what Obama, this administration, all of the main fringe media would have in a million years.

Ohh yeah Derrick ? SHE LOVES AMERICA AND AMERICANS and loves the US CONSTITUTION YOU DOPE !!

Reminds me of when Dubya was running the first time, and my wife told me that he played Video Golf two hours a day. I was like, “Yeah?”

Do you REALLY want someone who you can probably beat in a number of subjects and activities

I could out-wrestle her, beat her in a music trivia contest, and I'm probably a better cook, but what does that have to do with anything?

Obama's an America-hating crackhead who's never had a real job and we let him be president.
