Why is this surprising to anyone? Not only did she campaign for McCain ONE YEAR AGO for PRESIDENT, SHE WAS HIS RUNNING MATE FOR VP. Has everyone forgot this little fact? It would be totally CONTRADICTORY for her to say "Yes, I'll campaign for him to be President, and I'll even run on the same ticket with him, but I will NOT campaign for him to be a US Senator". Now THAT would be idiotic and nonsensical. Palin also said in her interview with Glenn Beck that McCain has taken more conservative views since Obama's been in office.

And to those of you who think this is "dumb" politically for her, SHE DOESN'T CARE IF IT IS OR NOT! She is doing what she believes is right. Go read her book! She talks about a time when she endorsed someone else over her husband's step-mother which led to a spat with Todd because Todd's family had been extremely loyal to Sarah. Sarah realized she backed another candidate because of her own poltical considerations. She admitted what she did was WRONG and vowed to NEVER make that mistake again. She will be LOYAL to those who have been loyal to her, regardless of the political calculations.

To those of you ready to abandon her because of her support of McCain, what planet were you on a year ago? SHE FULLY SUPPORTED HIM, and YOU fully supported her. Now you want to act "shocked" because she continues to support McCain?

I am really... really.... really tired of all the overwrought handwringing, kneejerk reactions of so many on this site. In fact, it pisses me off to no end. People aren’t looking for a leader, they are looking for a puppet that will dance when the strings are pulled. And don’t give me this frickin’ RINO bullsh!t! I have really come to detest Mccain. Sarah is just doing what she has to do. Mccain should have had the decency to realize that having Palin campaign for him could damage her. If Mccain cannot win without Palin than Mccain deserves to go down in flames. He is a selfish old prick who I wish would just go away.

Other than to show McCain appreciation of what he did for her.. golly, why is it that honest repayment of a real debt is questioned any more. Seriously, I don’t care for McCain politically. That being said, he did Sarah a great good with his nominating her, and that’s a real debt to be repaid. It smacks of integrity, personal integrity, and that’s why I like it.
