Not an actor, but Paul Harvey died this year. Of course, Brittany Murphy died a couple of days ago.

Texas, my condolences. It hurts to lose your dad. Mine has been gone for 30 years and my heart still aches for him.

Wow! Edward Woodward passed away. I highly reccommend the series “Callan” he starred in. They don’t make television like that anymore.

A few of those on the list were veterans.
Richard Todd was a Red Devil who jumped into Normandy on D Day.
James Whitmore was a Marine who served during WW2.

For adults but Edward Woodward in the origninal Wicker Man.
Breaker Morant had one of the most shocking ending I ever watched.
Near the end of his life, he did a series called Common As Muck, that was really great. I got the series from a FRiend in the UK. Damn good stuff.

Billy Mays was a pitchman. He also had a TV show by that name. I would say he was an actor. Doubt he had a SAG card though.

the Prisoner remake already aired as a 6 hour mini-series a few weeks ago. It was terrible. It was nice to see Rover make a guest appearance. He still looked pretty good.

Thanks for the list. It does remind us to make the best of life.
While I am about as far as one can be from being a celebrity groupie, at age 65, I have seen many greats pass.
The Rat Pack comes to mind.
A few on this list are ones that I have never heard of :(
I had never heard of the girl that died last week, and have even forgotten her name now. Murphy?

Paul Burke took the place of Robert Lansing in 12 O'Clock High.
Now that show had the best theme song in television.
Quinn/Martin,,, they had some very good shows in their day.

So sorry you lost you father. I know how it hurts. Mine has been gone 20 years. I was very close to him and it’s still painful.
