2. The 7 million figure has been floating around as a rumor of Palin’s dollar advance on the book, not the number of copies sold. In any case, $7 million has not been confirmed.

And incidentally, I doubt it ever will be. The Palins are pretty private, and since she is not now an elected official, I don’t know if she has to disclose her IRS forms. Possibly she will, because she was governor for 7 months of 2009, not sure about that.
