I could be wrong here but I think that Alaphiah was making a statement here and not saying that we are not or do not sing praises to anyone but the Lord.
And what a wonderful praise ‘The Battle Hymn’ is!
(being posted a bit late but...)
You are right about not naming any President. But I think of President Bush, when I hear this song. I guess that it the way he led us during his time in Office.
As I said, that is just my thoughts, and I am only one person though.
As indicated by your irrelevent and unfortunate post!
Hey Dilbert if the Obamamedia would do some reporting instead to the entertainment tonight Obama celeb pieces we would have this disaster for a president.
Go Chargers, Padres and Azetecs!
Hi Outlaw Woman,
I think we may be on the same page. It was TMSuchman who posted that the Battle Hymn of the Republic was the same as singing praises to Obama, which is not true.
My point is the only governments that have ever encouraged the type of songs that we are seeing our school children being taught to sing to Obama were Communist and Fascist Governments.
As indicated by your irrelevent and unfortunate post!
What was up with this response? Did you even read what I was responding to?
