It didn’t condone slavery. Slavery existed but God didn’t come to free us from that kind of slavery. He came to free us from the slavery of sin. He knew He could never stop slavery because men’s hearts were hard and cold. He tried to teach people how to live in spite of slavery. He freed their souls if not their bodies.
Yes, and I've read the more complete Septuagint as well. I have also read a number of Some of the Dead Sea scrolls which attest to Hebrew texts other than those on which the Masoretic Text was based. in many cases, these newly found texts reinforce the additional books in the Septuagint. However, none of these books refer to any "obliterated" tribes.
Perhaps you can explain to this modern Christian how God would order and condone the murder of men, women, and children in cities coveted by the Hebrew tribes. I can certainly attest to the fact that if an angel appeared before me and ordered me to kill unbelievers, or to sacrifice one of my children, or to commit any act in violation of Natural Law, I would immediately conclude that that the message was not from my God.
Hopefully His followers will be removed from the earth before all “hell breaks loose”.
THANKS THANKS.

You mean Like Joshua 6:21 NIV?
They devoted the city to the LORD and destroyed with the sword every living thing in itmen and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys.
In Zech. 12:2-3
[2] Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Happening NOW.
[3] And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
ABOUT to HAPPEN.
Zech. 14:2-3
[2] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
In the process of happening.
[3] Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
[4] And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Yes, the Bible is true and prophecy is happening right before your eyes. It's always interesting to see on FR who rejects Him.
That may have been the command of their God, but not my God. Remember, these were the same people who found the execution of Jesus Christ legal and proper.

Several times in the Old Testament He made an object lesson vis a vis
particularly idolatrous, particularly very evil tribes vs His Chosen people.
I’ve never found it fruitful to question HIS judgment.
The following are not the ref(s) I was looking for. There is a case or 3 in the Old Testament where God instructed the Children of Israel to wipe out entire tribes. And they did. Perhaps others will yet offer the ref(s).
Some contend that therefore Almighty God is not altogether Loving and Good. That’s folly, to me.
Are not all that has been created His to do with as His wisdom decrees?
In the Old Testament, His wisdom decreed that some very startling and severe object lessons must needs be made to the Children of Israel and to all Creation.

THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB IS MY GOD. HE IS THE ONLY GOD. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY OTHER. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY OTHER.
It is wise to choose the winning side.
If you believe G-d's Holy Word, I just wonder where you derive your version of history.

there only seem to be 2000 years before Abraham.
God destroyed maybe 10 billion and saved only 8 during the flood.
The fruit of replacement theology?
Sorry, I don’t follow your line of thinking on that score.
I don't believe it.
