I am using flag@whitehouse.gov anytime I want to enter a website but don’t want to use my real email. Of course I click the “Yes-please send me emails about promotions”. I’m sure I’m not the only one doing it. (probably shouldn’t admit this) Decided I had picked on my liberal co-worker long enough. :0)

Boxer the fact that you only used that email account to post to flag@ and you received an email back from that same account pretty much is proof that they are the ones using it.

The suspicion is that MoveOn shared their mailing list with the White House. Is that legal?

There is a thread up right now with some folks that specifically created a email address for posting to flag@. One guy received an email from them at that address two days later.

They did not use it for any other mailings.

Major is still working on it. Major says things are frosty.

If it is true that people are compiling a list, then it will be a game changer. He wants to know if there is a list and how did they get the names.
