Peter Lewis, with Geffen, Soros, the Sandlers—put together the seed money for Center for American Progress. That’s why it’s called “Progressive”—just another guy who made billions via free enterprise who now wants to impose marxism on the rest of America.

Subject: Not happy with being patronized

Mary O. - Progressive Internet Representative

I received your reply to my email advising you as representative of your company that I would refuse you business and cause others to refuse you business as a result of your pulling your ads from Glenn Beck’s show.

Allow me to explain some things. It appears that in America nowadays those in power and influence (currently regarding this email, that would mean YOU) are either drunk, absolutely brain-dead, scared to death or some combination of the three. I am 53 years old. I have the self confidence of a bull, and the common sense of Moses, the wisdom your grandfather had, and the ability to see through a 6 foot slab of bullshit without the slightest thought.

You apparently were raised in the biscotte-latte generation, pampered to death and afraid of your shadow, any responsibility, and unable to utter the slightest word of truth due to the incredible weight it imposes upon you.

I quote your reply:
“Recent media reports have created the incorrect impression that Progressive pulled advertising in response to specific comments made on The Glenn Beck Show, but that is not the case. The fact is that we did not intentionally place any of our advertising on the show, so when we learned that our ad had aired, we corrected the error. Our goal is to reach a broad range of drivers to make them aware of our products and services. We value feedback on our advertising strategy, but because auto insurance is a very competitive business, we donate discuss everything that goes into our ad placement decisions. We’d like to thank you for taking the time to express your opinion.”

This is what we called in my generation “patronizing” or “talking down to” a person. Your answer is complete bullshit! Your answer is sterile, evasive, condescending, and intended to diffuse me the plaintiff. How cute. Who the hell do you think you are? What the hell do you think this is?

You are a representative of a business. The proper response if you are honest is “Gee Mr. XXXXX, We screwed up because we were afraid of public pressure, and we were more afraid of offending the 2% of the population who are idiots (them) than the 98% of the population who rarely object (you). We were wrong.” This attitude and response you will recognize from your management 101 class as “Customer Centric.” It means you care about feedback from loyal customers and will take responsibility for your wrong actions, and gain their respect and trust again. Instead you responded; “recent media reports...blah blah blah.” This is an EGO (company)-centric response. It means you are evading responsibility. It makes you seem untrustworthy, filled with lies, obfuscation and deceit. It drives customers away. See, we know you think we are stupid, and take us for granted. We also resent it.

This is : REALITY! Not the kind you see on TV. This is the REAL reality where customers get pissed off at a company’s foolish antics, and posturing, and send their money elsewhere. Enough of it and you won’t have a paycheck. Does that math add up for you?

You need to abandon the Hillary Clinton mentality, and get real and honest with yourself missy. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. You’re a mess, and your grandmother would be ashamed of you.

Mr. XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXX, SC

Has there ever been a time in our history where the President of this country asked people to boycott a private business in this country?

Has there ever been a president in history from Chicago who continued using Chicago tactics to control?

Is this an abuse of power or is it using the "bully Pulpit"?

After 8 years of GWB I don't remember what that phrase means.

Anyway, so Obama has released a list of companies to consider boycotting.

Everything this guy does harms the economy!
