From what I've read, the Kos kids are attacking Steele for being spineless. I mean, the guy makes some pretty bold statements about Rush Limbaugh, and after Rush responds in kind, Steele tucks tail and starts insisting that he "didn't really mean it that way."

I don't think anyone is judging Steele on the color of his skin, but the content of his skeletal system — which is spine-free, apparently.

Rush may not be the leader of the GOP, but Steele isn't either.
