I’m not in Pennsylvania, can I donate to his conservative competitor?
The democrat would have to be a Zell Miller (the Zell Miller version we saw give the speech at the RNC Convention). That guy was more inspirational and on target than most of the pubs that spoke. You can generally tell when someone’s just giving a speech versus speaking what they actually believe strongly.
Damn right you can. You can donate to whoever the hell you want to. I donated to a bunch of conservative candidates in other states this year, and some of them won.

I normally wouldn’t agree with this, but in Specter’s case, I’ll make an exception.

His vote no longer matters. The Dems have enough votes by themselves to pass it, once they got past cloture with Spector's help.
I won’t support the Democrat. If Specter gets the Republican nomination by winning the primary, I’ll write in Santorum.

Let me add my voice to the outrage that decries your support of the so-called “stimulus” bill. While your knowledge of law is profound, your knowledge of economics is puerile.
The measures in the “stimulus” package will not re-employ the general population. Special pork projects such as the fenceless dog park in Chula Vista, CA obviously have nothing to do with stimulating the economy.
As a professor of mine once said “Just don’t do something...stand there!”
The rallying cry to defeat you in 2010 will be “He had to do something”..., no matter how stupid and costly.

We need to do everything we can do get this traitor replaced with a real Republican (if there are any left!)
