The woman is a Saint and they can't stand it!
The conditions in Alaska are hardly better than that today, and is sure the hell isn't Sarah's fault. The 'Skimos(as we called them in the Army, no slur intended)knew, and still know, how to take care of their families, they did what they had to do and still do. The residents of Alaska are of the same hardy breed, Sarah knows this and I am sure she will do what she can to help them but the fact is, the government isn't in the business of giving money to people, it just is BS to think it is.
These people bad mouthing Sarah would not be giving a tinker's damn if she hadn't stirred the Republican, and other conservatives, so soundly during the campaign.
Why don’t you read Gov. Palin’s press release on the subject. Ramras(sic) was at a meeting the day before with Gov. Plain and never mentioned the situation but instead went to the press and blasted Gov. Palin for not helping. Get real and get the facts straight.
Ramras went to the private sector, asked for donations of material and transportation, gotten it delivered to people who really need it, all without governmental intervention and he's the one who's catching all the bad press? This is what Palin's done so far--"The Departments of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, Health and Social Services, Education and Early Development, Fish and Game and Public Safety and other organizations are continuing to work jointly to ensure residents living in the affected areas have access to all state assistance programs that are available." http://www.gov.state.ak.us/news.php?id=1628
Go back to Bob Barr site and cut the crap.
Go to YouTube and watch her own response to the question "What have you done on a personal level, NOT a governmental level to help people in the Lower Yukon...?"
