Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Richardson and a host of congressional candidates from both parties accepted cash from Oscar S. Wyatt Jr. and his wife, Lynn,since the federal government accused the Texas oilman of paying millions of dollars in kickbacks to Saddam Hussein.

No, the scandal that is poised to emerge from the Emanuel tapes has to do with his foul character. “What is now called the Silence of the Rahm has developed, with a cocoon of muteness that has descended upon Cong. Rahm Emanuel, who has been slated to be Obama’s chief-of-staff,” writes noted political commentator, Thomas Roeser, in a recent column. “What worries the Obama media people is not that Rahm is caught on tape with Blago and staff a full 21 times — but that Emanuel’s propensity for four-letter words will be revealed and cause a distinct toxic shock to idealists who believe Obama will bring a wafting air of clean breeze to politics.”

THE reason that Obama was “pushed” by the Chicago Machine is the 2016 Olympics. The SAME players: Axelrod, Valerie Jarrett, Rahm, the Pritzkers, the Daleys ....and more....all stand to make a bundle if CHICAGO gets the Olympic nod.
The word before the election was Chicago had a 50/50 chance of getting the nod. The elite Olympic team (again many of the same players) now thinks the chances are 100%.

Nadhmi Auchi had helped Orascom gain a contract to set up mobile phone networks in post Saddam’s Iraq.
Orascom also funded the English language web site efforts of WorldNexus.
Huawei was in the middle of a merger with Bain Capital and 3Com when Romney was running for President. You may remember the battle between ‘us Duncan Hunter’ supporters vs. Romney supporters. Duncan Hunter condemned Romney a number of times in press releases to oppose the Huawei, Bain, 3Com merger as a security risk.

But it isn’t just Obama and Richardson that Rubin has ties to. According to federal law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation, federal officials are also looking into CDR’s political and financial ties to Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, as well as to Democrat state and local officials in Illinois, California, Florida, and Pennsylvania.
Rendell placed Rubin on a political patronage commission in Pennsylvania, and Rubin was also given a seat on a Los Angeles City commission back in 2002, both seemingly as the result of political contributions to political action committees. Rubin has also been a financial supporter of Rev. Al Sharpton.
CDR also had close business ties to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, marketing and selling financial instruments created through low-income housing “lease to own” programs across the country. “If someone wants to understand just how deep Democrats are into the housing bubble and the economic crisis, they should look at some of the financial wheeling and dealing around some of those ‘lease to own’ programs,” says a former Freddie Mac lobbyist based in Washington. “It’s a veritable ‘who’s who’ of Democratic state and local politics from New York to Los Angeles.”

2. David Rubin of CDR has been involved in Politics from being on Ed Rendell’s transition team in 2003, to being appointed to the LA Housing Authority.
3. CDR has been involved in Low Income Housing plans with the now bankrupt Freddi Mac.
4. CDR was involved in possible corruption in Philadelphia from 2000-2003.
5. CDR managed to leave low income housing called Oakwood Terrace as a cesspool.
6. CDR May have also swindled Atlanta.

(5) dumping his responsibilities Obama resigned the day before the current U.S. Senate reconvened; .
(6) Obama’s is the earliest resignation ever after a presidential election win; .
(7) Joe Biden won’t resign from the Senate until after the new Senate convenes.
Today’s New York Times confirms that Joe Biden will be sworn in as a U.S. Senator in the new U.S. Senate.
David Rubin Attended Exclusive Hollywood Fundraiser for Obama

In late September, Rubin attended an exclusive Los Angeles fundraiser for Obama, held at the Beverly Hills’ Greystone Mansion. Attendees gave tens of thousands of dollars which the campaign split between its own coffers, the Democratic National Committee and state-level campaign groups supporting Obama and Democratic candidates. The technique helps campaigns take in from individuals far more than the $2,300 maximum they are allowed to give to a single campaign fund.
Rubin’s money went to a joint Obama-DNC fund ($28,500), the DNC itself ($26,200), and to the Obama campaign ($2,300), according to the database of campaign donations at OpenSecrets.Org. News of the federal investigation into Rubin’s New Mexico dealings had broken less than three weeks earlier.

The problem with talking about Chicago Politics is that corruption is so pervasive that’s its almost impossible not to think about it and connect graft and payoffs to virtually everything. We probably should tread carefully, however when we consider the latest “sale” of parking infrastructure.
My contacts on both sides of the deal say that the city did well. They covered their budget (although I could think of other ways to do it, it was probably politically impossible to cut it much more), have a few bucks in the bank, are past a “crisis” for at least the next five years, and have gotten the headache of trying to run a parking program in that most intense of all political environments.

... In the midst of our current financial crisis, Chicago, IL. attempting to ward off all the crisis it has has laid off a slew of their tradesmen or limited their services. This past few days snowfall and cold weather has run havoc on the people and their cars. The drivers of plows and salt trucks sent home at end of normal day and if something happens on the weekend it will have to wait till Monday.
Now for the parking! Chicago has subbed out a lease for the parking meters. A 75 year lease! It is expected that the price for a vehicle parked for an hour will go up from $.25 to up to $6.00.
Now I don’t know what the situation is with welfare at the moment but what will this increase do to all the folks working at minimum wage there at $7.75 an hour and driving downtown???

Blagojevich also had scheduled September meetings with former Senate candidate Blair Hull and J.B. Pritzker, the brother of a close adviser to Obama. He attended a party Sept. 27 for Zell and had lunch Nov. 21 with Cubs general manager Jim Hendry....
...The schedule shows Blagojevich met on Sept. 8 with Blair Hull, an independently wealthy businessman who ran unsuccessfully for the Senate in 2004 — the seat that Obama won.
