I think everything is suspect unless it comes from the issuing authority that is verified in court. The level of scrutiny has to be high with Obama.

okeydokey...

Purely conjecture on my part, but in 1982 when that regulation had come into effect, it’s possible zero needed a BC in the name of BHO - and his grandmother attemped to obtain one for him. The original application would still have been FILED - and the details on the bottom were added then, sometime after the regulation came into effect.

But she wasn’t able to achieve what she was after, not even by identifying herself as the grandmother, because what she didn’t have then, zero still does not have today.

And that’s the supporting evidence.

Watching “Pearl Harbor” on TV.

Unfrickenbelievable that someone supposedly born in Hawaii could later bow to the Emperor of Japan.

Regardless where he was born we have been infiltrated on many levels, I fear.

I see the two first signatures being done with the same pen, but not the same person. Numerous letters are distinct beginning with the M's.

As to Madelyn dropping the “e” in her signature, she was a bank VP who signed stuff all day long. As with doctors, she could well have let go of the “e” in her signature over time.

Signatures are ground into muscle memory. My signature has several distorted or dropped letters and although it raises an issue, given the relative legibility of the other letters, I don't consider lack of the “e” to be conclusive evidence that it is not her signature.

If this document is in the HI file, how is it possible to get to the COLB showing Honolulu birth location? Would an intervening adoption by Soetoro reset the birth location to the city in HI where the adoption occurred? Then could Obama have filed for an amendment after the divorce to remove the parental relationship with Soetoro? Is it possible that removing Soetoro as an adoptive parent could still have left Honolulu as the unchanged birth location?

OK, its a toe in that pic, but in the one where she’s wearing a blue skirt there’s no toe, but two slots, where I suppose the toe went through in the other one.

well...if he was adopted...and we have seen no evidence he was, there might have been a name change, but the record would hardly be amended to show a birth in Indonesia, would it?

And just because he was shown (not by name) on the divorce documents, doesn’t mean he was officially adopted.

All we do know is that there is some core document in the Hawaii records. And that core document would appear to be nothing but an APPLICATION for a birth certificate.

AN APPLICATION THAT WAS FILED. NOT ACCEPTED.

I'm just trying to imagine a non-corrupt path for HI vital records to get from this BC application that has a Kenya birth over to a COLB that has a Honolulu birth. I wasn't implying that an Indonesia birth would get in the record!

A amendment with a Honolulu birth would seem to be needed that was both filed-and-accepted after 1982 which superseded a filed-but-not-accepted Kenya birth application that was still in the file as of 1982, indicated by 1982 statute notation. HI Vital Records officials would then have to treat the not-accepted application as though it never existed. To get there one would have to imagine that Obama legally contested successfully the Kenya birth application.

Her feet look fake. It’s not just the inappropriate footwear; the soles of the shoes don’t even appear to be making proper contact with the ground.

I agree the image appears odd, but there’s another one on the same page (go back a bit) and she’s wearing exactly the same clothes. I don’t think there’s any doubt that she was there. It’s what she was doing that is in doubt...

Ann Dunham: A Personal Reflection
Alice Dewey and Geoffrey White

http://www.anthropology.hawaii.edu/News/Announcements/2008/dunham.html

Excerpt:

Alice Dewey: Well, first there is the matter of her name. Stanley Ann Dunham is her birth name. Her father had wanted a son so they called her Stanley. Then she got married and her name was Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama until she married her Indonesian husband and became Mrs. Lolo Soetoro, the old Dutch spelling.

Everybody in Indonesia knew her as Ann Soetoro. She moved to Indonesia because she married Lolo Soetoro, a Javanese. But she soon came to love Java and the arts.

She was herself a craftsman and weaver. She taught weaving and just loved it. Most of her clothes were Indonesian. Java was as much her home as Honolulu. Ideally, she moved back and forth.

She’d be in Indonesia for a few years and then she’d get home sick for Honolulu and move back here for some months to pursue her studies, see her parents and friends, and then back to Java because she’d get homesick for Java and also need to earn money.

*snip*

So she was constantly in and out of these villages and adding new ones and going out to the outer islands. She eventually set up microcredit schemes all over Indonesia as well as in Pakistan and Kenya.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Your comment, Fred, and this one are the first mentions
I’ve heard that Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro was actually ever IN Kenya.
#8817
Dewey later traveled with Dunham to the same village in Kenya where Obama’s father came from and — decades later — saw a video of Obama in the same village near a building that arranged micro loans.
Obama had arrived at the place where his mother had helped so many people years before.
Possibly shows that she was familiar with Kenya...from another visit perhaps? Obama's birth place...
