Libertarianism is just a hairs difference from Anarchy. Did you know that Ronald Reagan called libertarianism the "heart and soul of conservatism"?

Im just saying he got a lot of people involved in politics and Constitutionalism (myself and a good number of friends included).Exactly. My friend owns a restaurant in a college town and his employees are your typical college-age kids who typically are big libs. Some of them hopped on the bandwagon for Ron Paul to be trendy and it opened up a chance for me to discuss the virtues of limited government with them and made them actually think. If not for Paul, they'd likely be shaped into your typical college-age Marxist. How in the world can someone say that Paul's candidacy was a bad thing overall?

Did you know that Paul said Reagan “made Jimmy Carter look Conservative”.

"Did you know that Ronald Reagan called libertarianism the "heart and soul of conservatism"?" Yes, but did Ronald Reagan call himself a Libertarian?
We share many common beliefs. Did you know that Stalin liked dogs, hot soup, and comfy sneakers? So do I.

So then he has this group of supporters, what are those in this branch of the GOP doing to reach out to these people. Seems like mocking them really isnt going to win them overHis critics are going to be the most vocal whiners the day after Obama destroys McCain, barring something totally unexpected.

See narses' post #98. Narses is one of the premier pro-life watchdogs on Free Republic. If Narses says that the Libertarians are pro-choice/pro-abortion/anti-life, then there's really nothing else to discuss.
Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.
TOTAL pro-choice. The lie that "They believe that tax dollars shouldn't fund abortions, and that states should regulate it as they did before Roe vs Wade" is just that, A LIE.

..and while you are bringing up Reagan, Paul also said he wished Reagan was more like his favorite president,

I love your tagline by the way. I bittorrented Rush’s segment last week where he played Carlin busting on all the environmentalists and played it for my liberal friends. Their heads just about exploded.

Precisely!
Libertarians aren’t really “anti” anything, they just oppose taxpayer money being spent on it.

McCain and Cindy are like an exhausted, aging Boris Gudonov and a gray-hair-in-a-bun version of Natasha. At least we'll have four more years of hot presidential daughters though.

that government should be kept out of the matter Ignorance of plain English is no excuse. If a State wants to add elective abortion to it's murder statutes, that should be left up to the State.
Otherwise, pass an Amendment. It's the only ethical and Constitutionally legal way to do this.
Anything else falls into the same bigger government crap that got us in the sorry state we're in now.
That is no "lie" no matter how many times you wave your tiny little fists at the keyboard...

I remember a line GC said about abortion a long time ago that was opposite of reality.
Allow me to paraphrase...
Have you ever noticed that anti-abortion women are the last women you would ever want to %$#@?

Actually, they are anti- a lot of things, your statement to the contrary notwithstanding. Mostly, they are anti-government.
If more people were anti-government, we'd probably have a lot less of it instead of both major Parties pushing for MORE of it.
